I don't see paying $70/month for cellphone + mobile Internet worth it for me. I can use coupons and go to nice restaurants once a week more for that $70.
I use cable internet and TV probably 200+hours/month so it's $0.50/hour. I would use the Sidekick maybe 10-20 hours a month for a...
Agreed. Some people go into deals like this not knowing that over 5 years, it will cost them almost $4000! I think $20/month is outrageous -- Boost charges only 20cents/day for Internet access.
After adding outrageous shipping charge, it is actually a lot more than a new one at Amazon!!!
Why do people keep falling for the cheap price + extra high shipping = a bargain???
You should put the information in the title. It should have been:
16X DVD +- Drive $70 AR Plus Shipping & handling
Total will be $110 befoire rebate vs. $58 with no rebate at Newegg
Bad deal, bad post -- maybe better next time?
The OP didn't say the rebate was promoted by Staples. OP got it from the web site and assumed it was valid at all dealers. The question is, is the list of valid dealers prominently posted and does the rebate form say "at participating dealers ..."?
I can't build a better system for $329 ... I can get a much better system from Dell for $400 and in fact, better than I can build at this time. Don't forget the cost of the operating system unless you want to use Linux!!!
Highly misleading -- it's a REFURB from the outlet. WHat is the prupose of posting something like this when it will already be sold by the time ppl read the posting and also, they expect a new machine.
Why is this a deal? I see 16X dual internal drives for $40-60. Is the Buslink really worth $10 more than the latest NEC and twice as much as the 3500a?
You're right it is in the summary. I was reading the article list on Dan's Deals, a Yahoo email list and only the title was visible, not the summary line.
That's mostly in the south. The northern CHinese make fun of their southern cousins as if they were hillbillys.
The Cantonese (southern) have a saying" "We eat everything with 4 legs except the table"
I paid $10 at KB toys and thought that was not that good a deal.
They do work, sort of but they only have a very small number of different categories of bark and then select some randon phrase from each category to fool you into thinking it is a lot more sophisticated.
For $6-10 it's an...
To improve your future posts:
1. Use a meaningful title ... such as "Cheap Place to Buy Textbooks"
2. Change the title of a link from TEXT to something informative
Thanks for posting -- we need more people to post informative posts.
Why? You are supposed to be able to do it all on their web site but it is down until 11/30. This is for only certain Staples rebates only. Some, like SYmantec, require you to use the mail.
They now want you to wait until (at least) 11/30 to enter rebates. Also, many of the rebates (such as the Symantec ones) require you to submit by mail. Based on my rpevious experience, I almost believe it is so Symantec can deny receiving the rebate.
Don't forget that the shipping and "handling" charge is pretty steep and they charge sales tax too so a $10 DVD suddenly becomes almost $15!
I think I'd rather buy from deepdiscountdvd where there is no tax and no shipping or handling.
They don't know whether you are a Paypal user! They send out 100's of millions of emails because there is no cost associated (they are using stolen accounts to send the mails and computers that they have planted software in) so if 90% are not Paypal users, so what? Every day I get similar...
