It is sad that the best hardware reviewer (Anand) on the internet gets so many posts from users about the worst technology journalist (I would rather call him a fiction writer) on the internet, Charlie.
NVIDIA will be fine because they are making money now and AMD has for the most part better cards in every price point. AMD needs to make money without the help of Intel. I would be more concerned for AMD.
Ellen is funny as a stand up but her talk show is lame. And I've never seen a white person who dances worse than Ellen. I like Conan and Jay but if I had to choose, it would be Conan. I can't stand Letterman.
Why not go with this deal. It still works for me.

Geforce GTX 260 Core 216 for $125 after coupon code and $25 eVGA rebate.
Whoa. That's pretty exciting. One thing that keeps me from touching my Nintendo DS is the fact at the graphics sucks. The Sony PSP graphics are good enough but the long load times makes me also not want to use it much. Sadly, when I have a few minutes to kill, I just rather use my iPod Touch...
Off topic but why not quote the original source?

I really hate it when some websites are linked even though they are just the ones providing the real information. Give credit where credit is due. You end up rewarding the wrong person.
I do audio recording in my office so I went through a lot of pain getting my system very quiet. Once you get to that point, you start to really hate noisy systems.
I sure hope there were no pictures involved and if there are, they be kept secret. I can't imagine why any woman would want to see Letterman naked. Sadly, I think this incident will generate higher ratings for Letterman. I never really liked his show. Letterman is not that funny and Paul is...
Neither really. But if I had to choose, I'd go with 3D Vision. I don't have room for three monitors on my desk and I have a projector for when I need a large screen gaming.
I never underestimate Intel but I really expected a lot more for their first showing. I don't understand their love for Ray Tracing other than they figure they can create a processor to handle ray tracing much better than they can doing a special graphics processor. Besides, how many years has...
I was curious if anyone knows if the Radeon 5870 can send audio over display port like it can over HDMI? I know the Display Port spec allows for this. Thanks in advance.
Meh. Not impressed. Show me this in a video game or real world demo, and I'll be impressed. I am excited for DX11 much more than I ever was for DX10 though.
Buying a business class graphics card is sort of like buying a Mac. Essentially, a Mac is the same hardware as a PC. You pay more for a Mac for the OS (additional software features in a business graphics card) and better testing (with business class applications).
Any suggestions on the eVGA P55 FTW? I currently have an eVGA 780i FTW and its worked out pretty well.
*Edit* I noticed buy.com has the Gigabyte GA-P55-UD5 in stock for $209 so I ordered that motherboard. I think it will be a little better at overclocking than the eVGA (or at least hope)...
Ummm....ATI has done the same. There was a time they were flying people to their press event in some nice vacation location. Someone who wasn't a press person also got accepted but I don't know if he ever followed through with it. It is like politics. It is only immoral when your opponent...
It is dumb for any computer company to rely on a sole provider.
1) It results in you relying on them to provide you with enough components to meet your demands
2) You can cause the manufacturers competitors to lose out on money and possible exiting the market thus give the manufacturer...
This is the same guy who said Apple was dropping NVIDIA. Stupid is as stupid does I guess. I will never understand why people quote him other than there are dumb people in this world.
The bigger question is, did ATI make money by doing so. The answer is no as of their last quarterly earnings (their graphics division lost money). AMD is giving away their CPUs and GPUs essentially for marketshare. AMD needs to make some money soon.
AMD is seriously pissing me off. Their whole strategy for CPUs has never changed and they are now doing the same for graphics cards now bringing the same results as before (loss after loss). If I told you that I am pissed at someone for spending the last three years more than they take in, you...
Rage Fury Max and Radeon All-In-Wonder. The Rage Fury Maxx had the worst drivers imaginable for a graphics card and worst of all, they took forever to release Windows 2000 drivers. The ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder suffered from poor gameplay because of it's very low 32MB of video memory.
"I would say we don't make money by delivering slow hardware. Our expectation is that we'll give you a really pleasant surprise this year when we ship our DX11 hardware."
I don't remember the last time AMD made money.
I've played with AA on and off at 2560x1600 and quite honestly, as I am playing, I can not tell a difference. It just seems to me when you are playing at such a high screen resolution, you do not need AA.
I have the same monitor and DVI works just fine on my QuadroFX 5800. If it displays fine on an NVIDIA graphics card with strict EDID timings, it should work fine on an ATI card with loose timings. Either driver bug or some hardware problem.
I'm guessing you had a bad/defective graphics card. I own all three major companies (NVIDIA QuadroFX 5800 for photography, Geforce 8200, ATI Radeon 4550 and Intel G45) and all have problems here and there. The only graphics controller I really hate is the Intel.
My problem with Intel graphics is that their drivers suck. It isn't brought up much because no one uses Intel integrated graphics when they need to do 3D so quality, bugs and performance are never looked into.
I almost forgot this show was still on. It's been so long since I've watched a Smallville episode. I think the show started sucking once Clark graduated from high school.
