Has anyone imported Soul Caliber 2 yet? If so, is it worth the price to get it a few months early?
I read the IGN review of the import and it doesn't look like there is too much Japanese except for the Weapons Mode Quest (or whatever it's called.)
Unless you are going to have a couple people play Mario Party 4 with you, I wouldn't recommend getting it. Playing against the CPU sucks. When I was over at the in-laws a few weeks ago, we played a bunch of 4-player matches and it was really fun. Then I played a couple 2 Human vs. 2 CPU games...
I read an article on MSN that b/c of complaints by some consumers, Wal-Mart is pulling Maxim, Stuff, FHM, and any other mag that has scantily clad women on the cover. It said that they have pulled individual issues off the shelf due to pictures on the cover in the past but now they are pulling...
I heard that the movie was going to be "formatted" to the IMAX aspect ratio. I don't really know what that means but if it is truly a pan and scan, I think I'll pass.
I didn't think Wal-Mart carried games like GTA:VC or other violent games. I remember when they pulled Duke Nukem 3D from their shelves.
Guess that was a long time ago.
Anyway, good price. Just make sure to sign up for your free issue of Stuff or Maxim b/c the 'mart ain't carrying them anymore.
And as a friend of Toddlizzle, I have to further clarify his statements by saying that he has roughly 30 Xbox games, at least 25 of which are still wrapped in plastic. Not exactly a glowing recommendation for the Xbox.
I suppose you could buy the WW instore with the Gamer's gift card coupon for $5 off. :D
Vince
I have a question on using the Gamer's gift coupon. I see a lot of people are using these but how are you doing it? I thought you had to buy a gift card first and then you could use the coupon in...
Similar situation in TN. You can't sell beer and liquor in the same physical location (most liquor stores have separate entrances for their beer and booze areas) and liquor stores are closed on Sundays - damn bible belt.
Oh well, almost all of our Albertson's recently pulled out anyway. They...
Everyone has an Aeron where I work and these chairs are awesome. I wish I could find one for less than $500 but good luck.
Have you ever noticed how many TV shows have Aeron chairs in them?
I jumped on this one. I got the Stuff subscription a few months back and other than the pics of the hotties, that mag is crap - which is why I just look at the pics :)
Hopefully Maxim will be a more "well-rounded" mag.
BTW, the wife browses my Stuff mag all the time so no worries there!
JP1 should allow you to make more efficient use of the memory and allow you to learn more functions. You can basically create a new program code for all of the learned functions and then assign that code to the remote, effectively freeing the memory you used to learn the keys in the first place.
So you've gone through the menu system and tried the Factory Reset option? If so, try all of the delete functions (Learning, Macro, Etc) and see if that helps.
If none of that works, I think the only way to get it back to normal would be to go into the Code Select screen and setup the...
I have been using this remote (2107) for over a week now and I really like it. I've set up all of my components on it and the functions that didn't work I was able to teach the remote in under a minute. Remember that if you are going to learn commands with the 2107, follow Ionizer's steps, not...
Picked up the last Buslink ($29.99) at my local BB but I haven't gotten a chance to open the box yet. It says SmartBurn on the box so I am crossing my fingers that it is a Lite-On. This is replacing my External USB 4x writer so even if it is made by Kia, I don't care.
Holy Schnikes! I paid full price for that bad boy just a few months ago. That is an unbelievable price! BTW MP is probably the best game for the GC, IMO. I'm playing Wind Waker right now and it might be edging up on Metroid, though.
And Gr1ml0cK's right. Tingle is one fruity dude.
I really don't see what the 2133 offers that the 2107 doesn't except that the 2133 is smaller. The 2133 is a 6-in-1 whereas the 2107 is an 8-in-1. The 2107, while not having separate VCR/DVD buttons allows you to assign any device to any of the mode keys, regardless of how it is labeled. This...
Well I finally got the 2107 to recognize my POS Memorex VCR. Had to try just about every code in the Search function and then finally hit on one. Tested it out and it appears to control all of the VCR functions so I am very happy. The only downside to this remote is the combo buttons for...
Ionizer posted this a little bit ago. Maybe this will fix your problem:
At first i had a problem w/ learning remotes too, b/c the instructions, well they are "wrong"
DO THIS:
put them 2 inches a part facing each other (duh)
Once your in learning mode, PRESS THE BUTTON ON THE RADIOSHACK...
You can always try the Code Search or Learn function to see if it can control this device. I successfully got mine to recognize a Moto HDTV STB that wasn't listed. Worse case - you take it back to Rat Shack and try a different model.
Got my 2107 last night afer work. I had verified that they had two but by the time I made it to Rat Shack there was only one left. It took the clerk forever to find it - it ended up being right behind the counter. I think one of those Rat B@st@rds was going to take one home for himself...
Wow. I was just going to post that I saw Mark of Kri at BB for $19.99 until I saw this post. The only problem is that if I buy from ebgames I have to pay shipping which pretty much makes it the same price as BB when you use the $5 gift card coupon. You said that this applies to the...
It's true. Fox did not renew Futurama for next season. I don't understand why Fox would can such a great show like Futurama and then push retarded new shows like "The Pitts" or "Oliver Beene." Does anyone watch that crap?
Agent: Alright. We have a blue Ford Escort for you Mr. Seinfeld. Would you
like insurance?
Jerry: Yeah, you better give me the insurance, because I am gonna beat the hell
out of this car.
Yeah Nintendo sucks b/c Sam Goody screwed up their inventory ordering.
BTW, I pre-ordered through EB and got the game last night. I've played it for about an hour and a half and so far it is amazing. If you own a GameCube you should definitely pick up a copy.
Just from reading the description on the box, it doesn't seem that this thing can act like an access point. I wish it could, though.
:( For $19.99 it still may be worth it!
It will act as an access point. I replaced a belkin access point with it. This one definitely has better range. No...
D'oh! Now I have to go back and check again. I was looking for a $19.99 pricetag. I should have known better. Wish me luck - I'm currently using a Que! USB 4x external :(
good question. can anyone answer definitively from their own experience? my initial thought is "yea that should work" but i don't honestly believe it will...
It would be great if someone could answer this. The only reason I would pick this up would be to bridge a connection from my PS2...
It would be great if someone could answer this. The only reason I would pick this up would be to bridge a connection from my PS2 downstairs to my Linksys WAP upstairs to get my PS2 online. If this would work, that would be sweet! I would rather spend $19.99 on this then $120 on the Linksys WET11.
I don't know about that. I'm consistently impressed with the quality of each Simpsons episode. I think the writers are still on their game and that show could run another 5 seasons without a significant drop in quality. Being a cartoon helps keep things fresh b/c you can do just about...
Staley, what you are currently doing is what I want to do. I want to connect my PS2 to the NetGear WAP and use it as a bridge to my Linksys WAP that is upstairs and has my broadband connection plugged in. Would I be able to pull this off with this setup? It would be cheaper than buying the...
