Of course FMJ, I don't beleive anyone would walk away alive with 6 Federal Hydra Shoks or Speer Gold Dots in their body. I've seen first hand a guy get shot to his thigh with 9mm hydra shok, and that ain't pretty. He stopped right there, a big guy.

As you are new to guns, I suggest you go with 9mm. Its easy to shoot and recoil is very manageable. I have shot all handgun calibers and prefer the 9mm. I can put 3 aimed shots at a target with 9mm, while at the same time 1 with 45. 40 doesn't bring much to the table. Little more power and lot...

What is the best system youve ever had....

Slot 1 celeron 300 @ 450Mhz/ 512Mb sdram/ Riva tnt... that was one hella machine back in the day. And lasted me longest. EDIT: Well, of course the one I have now is "best". Q6600/4Gb/Asus 8800 GTS 512Mb... But remembering that celeron system... just makes me feel all warm inside :)

Also, someone tell me this: If PSU is rated at "max continuous power of 300W", shouldn't it last just as long whether you use it at ~200W or 300W, as long as you dont exceed the max continuous power? Surely it has been then designed to operate @ 300W. So why would it last less than intended...

Wow, that was very good link! Thanks! The PSU I checked is 350W :S. With the calculator, current components come to 286W with 90% load. -GF 8800 or ATI3870 raise that to 321 W -ATI 4850 goes up to 347W... too close, might cause hickups. -GF9600 GT = 298W. Not a significant raise. So...
