Maybe it's my time spent on SPCR forums, but lately I've been attached to bringing noise down - heck I'm stilling running a passive 8800gt.
So, considering those factors, out of curiosity how does the MSI GTX 570 measure according to those factors? I'd...
Could someone correct my assumption?
I've heard w/ 32 bit XP, that adding more than 3.5gb (with a 512mb GPU graphics card) actually slows down the system.
ie: If I throw this set in my rig running along w/ a 8800gt 512mb, it'll run a little slower. (currently using some cheapo super...
I was on the beta test and had a blast. remote weapons are fun, vehicle physics are well done.
Body armor is a bit exaggerated (many many shots in the chest). Overall, a nice time killer - I can only imagine how the game would be w/ voice over and actually coordination. Beta was definitely...
*shrug*
Is it really worth the effort and time? I've seen kids playing for 8-10 hours straight almost daily on FPS to get to where they are.
It's a fun little thing to pass the time but to get to that level - there are just better uses of time IMHO.
But nice price on a fairly new game...
We did AD&D for quite a while. It helped that the guy leading it has played rpgs since N.E.S. days + read a lot + a writing major. It was like reading a great book - never wanted it to end. =)
I miss arcades. I remember putting quarters up and waiting your turn to get your a$$ handed back to you by a 5 year old w/ a thick packet of paper filled with FAQs in killer instinct. Oh the memories. =P
Prepare to throw up upsidedown... =P Anyone w/ motion sickness associated w/ FPS should stay FAR away =)
You must know that there's little tolerability for thread capping here at atech... General school of thought is if the deal doesn't interest you - move on.
My only questions are heat and fan sound.
Am I gonna be burning up rig and will it sound like a jet engine?
That's the issue w/ the GT's - I want relatively cool and quiet. As it stands right now, my rig w/ a passive 7600gt is quieter than my Macbook.
Nice deal all things considered
The only reason why I don't like buying PC games at near retail is that they plummet in price much faster than console games.
Except for CIV IV. Drop damn you!
Someone convince me that the sexiness of the Samsung 226bw isn't worth the extra $60 bucks so I can get the Acer! Please, I've been trying to convince myself to jump on this great deal!
Agreed - upconversion isn't the "hardware" necessarily, but more the software.
ie: Your video card capabilities and the software used.
Well... I guess that means hardware too. Good thing I used "quotes."
All I picture is Dr. Evil.
I wonder how hot and loud this thing is gonna be. I want a better card, but I'm running a fairly silent rig w/ ninja and 7600gt w/ S2 arctic cooler and yate loons...
The idea of having a stock video card fan is pretty discouraging.
But man this card looks great at this price!
I have a similiar question... Any help would be great:
I have a rev A scythe fan - first time doing a build
I installed it onto an e4300 board, used arctic silver 5 and its on a 965-ds3 rev 1.3.
My question is this:
On TAT my numbers are:
Core 0: 38
Core 1: 40
Stressed 100%...
How's the OC on this compared to the batch that came out for 120 shipped when it was originally around?
Dangit, I'm trying to convince myself that I didn't get ripped off when I jumped on it. =P
OEM would have been hot if free shipping was included. However, I'm showing a $9.xx shipping rate which shoots this up to ~$112 shipped - and for 3 bucks more, why not go for the extended warranty and stock fan just for resale value alone?
