Mounting IDE drives vertical ?

My HD (dell) was up on it's side. I had to move it when I put my burner in. I didnt' notice a difference either way.

I just got the same case, and found the same thing in mine. I was goign to post, but i was waitign to take a pic first. Anywhoo, what do you mean "loop the wires through"? Is this doughnut supposed to sit anywhere specific? or just hang there with the wires goign through the center?

Board on a budget...

I am not too worried about the quality of the on-board sound. I will be getting a sound card eventually, the onboard is just to hold me over until I have the cash for the sound card.

Board on a budget...

Jerboy, I already have a Geforce 2Ti. :) From what I have been hearing, it looks like the Epox 8KHA+ is the way to go. NewEgg has a refurb for only 70 bucks. How good is the refurb stuff? Have you guys had any problems with it? Thanks for the help thus far.

Thanks for the replies. And actually Jerboy, I already have a dell. I am going to be canablizing this computer for some of my parts for my new one. Basically all I need for the new one is Mobo, CPU, and RAM. I already ordered a case, and will be taking my HD, drives, modem, and NIC from this...

Want a glossy finish for painting my pc, any tips?

It can be done without a clear coat too. Just Do as above, but istead of puttign on a clear coat, use rubbing compound to buff it up, then apply the wax. You dont' have to do it this way, just offering another suggestion.
