The Unofficial ASUS P5N-E SLI 650i Board Thread

I got a Zalman ZM-NB47J on the Southbridge (updated my profile to show that now). I don't have any fan on the Northbridge, just the original heatsink, so I don't know if I dare up the voltage? I have 3x 120mm fans in the case, one in the front who sucks in air, and one in the back that blows it...

The Unofficial ASUS P5N-E SLI 650i Board Thread

Thank you for the suggestions! I went from 2.085v to 2.178v on the memory voltage (sticker on them says 2.1v) I also tried the relaxed memory timings. I'm running bios 0401 havn't tried the older one, could that really help? Did some more testing on different FSB speeds (in sync) anything...

The Unofficial ASUS P5N-E SLI 650i Board Thread

I have a strange problem. I've been running my E6300 at 2.8GHz for a while, I thought it worked well in the beginning, but I get a freeze that can only be resolved by a hard reset after a few hours of (EverQuest 2) gaming. So I put on some passive cooling on the (south or north?) bridge that...

The Unofficial ASUS P5N-E SLI 650i Board Thread

I've been reading and learning a lot from this thread. :) Just thought I add some of my own experiences and results here. I got my E6300 up to 3.23GHz, and could run 3DMark06 without any problem. score: 8731 Compare URL: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=1494385 But I will probably...

    help in OC geforce2!

Sorry about the empty message. What I was going to say is that I have the same problem. I did not get any overclock tab by default in nvidias drivers, so I used the coolbits trick. With coolbit set in registry I get the overclock tab, but I can only change the memory between 0 and 100MHz (and...

    P3 600 with MS-6119 [i440BX] overclocking?

Thank you! I guess my P3 is a Katmai since it has 512kb L2 cache. My bios only lets me lower the multiplier, its 6x100 now, and can be set to 6x,5x,4x,3x... I will try SoftFSB first, but it looks like I might have to change the switches on the motherboard.

    P3 600 with MS-6119 [i440BX] overclocking?

I have a P3 600MHz and a MS-6119 [i440BX] motherboard. Is it possible to overclock this configuration? In the bios I can't find any way to overclock, how do I do it, jumpers or new bios or? Any hints are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
