How many of you have TiVo?

I have 2 Tivos in my household. The wife fell in love with the first one and then demanded a second for the bedroom. Thinking about adding a MCE box, just need to find the time and parts to do it.

How do you convert WMA files to MP3 files?

use something link dBpowerAMP Music Converter. I have used it in the past to convert FLAC files to WMA Lossless without any problems, great little app.

Are there any H.264 encoding appas available yet?

Go over to Doom9 they have info on all of the H.264 encoders available (Mainconcept and Sorenson also have windows encoders available). Note that they are both pretty expensive $300 or more. Doom9 has some free tools available on their site.

I have used Dynamic Scheduling with Microsoft Project 2000 by Eric Uyttewaal, PMP. There is most likely an updated version. But the book starts off talking about strong project management before moving on to the ends and outs of Project Scheduling (ie, Work Breakdown Structures, Cost loading...

For video editing what is better, P4 or AMD64?

I have been waiting for the DVD release, ordered from amazon.jp since the disc has english subtitles I am good to go (love my region free DVD player). I did not know that Miramax was planning on releasing stateside. Does anyone know if it will be dubbed or subtitled. later.

Engineers taking EIT/FE and PE certifications?

I guess it would depend on the employer and what is required by the job. Where I work all of the engineers are registered, we prepare plans/specs for construction projects and they need to be stamped by a registered discipline engineer.

DVD Burner question...please help!

I really do not know if one format is better than the other. I use both (have a sony dru-500a and a pioneer A06) and have not run into any problems with the + or - format on any of the dvd players that I have tested them in. The quality of the media is more important IMO.

Arnold repeals California Driver's License Law

Wireless Mouse question

I just recently purchased the cordless MX Duo (Keyboard and MX700) and have found it to be pretty nice. It is still too early for me to determine battery life, but so far I have not had any problems with it.
