I'm just wondering...TigerDirect.com has this TV for $2199. There is a Tiger retail store near me. Will BB price match this plus give me 10%, which should bring the 50PX60U to 2167? Also I called to reverify if you could use the 12% off coupon and one of the associates told me "Only on non-sale...
Yep! I just got off the phone with the BB rep and told me that you can price match, get the financing, and use the coupon all in one!!!
Very, very nice!

Rage,
Most manufacturers are now at the same price point as the Vizio now, even though Vizio had them beat a year ago. I believe that we as consumers have not met the demand of 50" plasma's to have manufacturers lower their prices on these models yet. By next year of 2007, we should be able to...
All in part to resolution! However, there are a few more factors, but resolution is the top selling feature of LCD's. Plasma's look better IMO, but it boils down to personal preference, price, and size for most people.

Well I already took advantage of grabbing a 42PX60U @ CC for $1199. So I need to find a 50"er for my loft. The 42PX60U is going to go in my bedroom.
I'm wondering if BB would price match and give 0% fiancing til 2010 and 60 day price guarantee!
That would be amazing!!!
Cree
I agree with bob and aaron on this topic on Plasma vs. LCD. It is very important to take it home and tweak the settings. I will say it again. Tweak the settings!
If you are looking at plasma in-store side-by-side it is not a direct comparison between the various models. All of the models that...
Great price!

If only my wife could cooperate with me and have this in my main room. I would be set!
I already have the Panasonic 42PX60U, but I need a plasma that has a slightly bigger screen.
Decent deal! I would recommend going with a non 1080p monitor b/c their is no content around that can handle those resolutions
besides Blu-ray. We all know that Blu-ray cost $600 - $1000 to obtain just for an increase in picture quality. Everything is 720p
or 1080i right now.

I went to CC today and they gave me a price adjustment from $1299 to $1199. I am feeling good right now! I can still get more price adjustments
within 30 days. Great deal!
Cree
I believe CC will not price match BB price @ $999.99, since it is a door buster price and there are limited quantities. Now I can understand if there was a full day and have at least 20 on-hand.
Also I believe they will not honor the 10% off coupon as well. I tried and they did not honor it...
My settings are identical, except my Picture is set to +10. Man o' man! I am watching ESPN HD and it is breath-taking! Razor sharp, colorful, and detail picture! I was one of those guys that was curious about the reviews and the hype. Well you have no worries. Go out and buy this for $999 or...
Well I have to say that I have a different feeling about this 42PX60U. At $1299 or $999, whatever how you cut it this an AWESOME BUY
AND A GREAT TV. Well the guys at Comcast came by and told me that I using the Coax input vs. the HDMI input. Wow what a difference.
The colors and depth are...
Well if you read under the description only 5 per store will be given at this price. So chances are this is a good deal, but not great for everyone to have one.
Cree
Okay. Overall my innitial impressions are good, but not excellent. I was looking for tad bit more sharpness. However, I may not have the HDMI fully connected to my Comcast box. I kept playing with the HDMI cable and it makes no difference. There may be something wrong on my end. Overall, color...
Just bought this 42" Beast @ CC. They did not honor the 10% off, since it was the black friday sale price. However, for $1401 this was a great price. On top of this financing until Jan 2009. Wow! What a steal!
Cree
I found a slighty cheaper on PriceGrabber however, some are not Authorized Dealers.
I want you guys to post the best price for Auth dealers on the 42PX60U.
Here are mine:
B&H Photo for $1195.99 + 191 shipping = $1386.99
Tweeter for $1299.99 + Tax (81.25 for IL) = $1381.24
LMK...
Does anyone have an idea of what the prices will be online for the Panasonic 50PX60U?
http://www.pricegrabber.com/p__Panasoni...sma_TV,__18142958/sort_type=bottomline
I called OneCall and they have no idea what the prices will be towards next week. So maybe
if someone knew ahead of time...
Your numbers are right. I didn't place my ccard in. I assumed that the price was with tax and shipping. My bad! Even uner $2600. That is still a good deal. Remember most of these online retailers have the price of this unit around $2200 (average price shipped). But add the warranty and you are...
So are you saying that for $2399+$165 shipping includes a in-store 10-year warranty? This is a huge hassle if you to lug a 100 pound TV into the store for repair or replacement.
Chris
I have been doing tons of price research on this plasma. Hopefully, this will be one I may get. If not, my wife will let me settle for the 42PX60U.
However, keep in mind that you guys have not mentioned about the extended warranties when buying the 50PX60U.
IMO the best VALUE (right now)...
