WTF is wrong with hotmail????????

Hotmail has been terrible as of late. They've gone Beta as many people know and I kinda like the setup ... but it's so slow and broken that it's almost unuseable. In any case, Gmail is where it's at for me and has been since it's inception. KeithTalent ... the one at eGullet?

Help with .xvid.avi file?????

Just to bring up this old thread ... This was great advice. I was trying to use VirtualDubMod for the first time and got a funny error message (i've forgotten) when trying to join two xvid files. I went to this site, downloaded the latest build and then VirtualDubMod recognized my xvid files...

How do you learn to drive stick if noone you know owns a stick?

It's not that it's a monumental task ... it's just that in North American society (as opposed to Europe/rest of the world) it's mostly automatic transmission. Not everyone has easy access to a manual tranny - and to learn off one to boot. As with many things, learning to drive manual...

How do you learn to drive stick if noone you know owns a stick?

Then I guess you'll drive automatic forever. (find a friend, steal a car or something - just be aware that learning to drive stick on a video game is not in any way representative of actually physically driving a car with manual transmission)

My man, it's not fine. If you want to believe that - that's your prerogative. I'll echo the opinion espoused above. Paying an embarrassing amount of money for a mediocre product or a half-assed product propped up by huge marketing and ignorant/uneducated customers doesn't make it "okay"...

Bought an '05 Sienna because the Ody hadn't come out yet in numbers and a buddy of mine is a manager of a local Toyota dealership. Pros: - 8 seating capacity. I have 3 boys 5 and under. - ton of room - looks good, for a minivan - pretty well engineered, drives nice, lots of power...

After installing Windows XP, how do I revert back to Windows 98?

This and earthman's advice hits the topic right on the head. I had XP Pro running on a 400mhz machine with 384mb of pc100 ram for a long time. It worked fine. Granted, i'm not a gamer ... but for surfing the web and basic stuff it was fine, if a little slow.
