Thanks for the advice and update! I don't follow PC hardware like I used to. Back in the day, I used to upgrade everything, every other year. Now, I just do it when there's a particular PC game I want to play. In this case, of course the upgrade is for D3. Its been over five years since I...
masteryoda34: I didn't, I build my own. This PC belongs to a friend and I'm trying to help them out.
corkyg: m/b damage is what I considered also but it works perfectly otherwise. Everything seems to be running well including onboard video and audio. I'll see if someone at my work has an...
My friends' Dell XPS 420 was off at the time and working fine, well?for a Vista PC that is. ;) Anyway, now when I do a shutdown from the start button the PC just reboots. I tried an OS re-install first and then even a format of the OS partition followed by a clean install of Vista with no...
Grrr...Windows CE is not listed as a compatible OS for WMP 10 on the MS website. So I may be "SOL". Any suggestions for playing WMA files on a WinCE heldheld?
I want to play WMA songs on my pocket phone PC (Audiovox XV6600) which runs Windows CE. I think it's only running WMP 9 and of course it gives a CODEC error when attempting to play WMA's. Can I just download the WMP10 and upgrade? Surely it's not that easy on a handheld. Or would a CE update...
Anubis: Ah yes, I've heard of this one. About a man who comes back to Earth after being raised on Mars. I'll definitely include this one.
Anything else?
***UPDATE*** The manual copies are in color.
Since I've never played this game before, the $1.25 I paid for the Fire Emblem GBA manual was worth every penny!
My sons love their PS2 version. They are 10 & 13 and I wouldn't feel comfortable with them playing some of the songs if they were much younger than that. I'm sure that's why it's rated "T", and not "E".
I'm considering buying several for some used GBA carts I bought. The website say they are photocopies, not original manuals. That's OK! I'd just like to know before I order if they are color. The sales rep on their 800 line didn't know and was unable to find out. Has anyone ordered a game manual...
When I Google "GBA manuals" I did get this match.
www.nintendo.com/consumer/manuals/index
But, unfortunately I'm at work and I can't access any "Gaming" pages. :| Can someone tell me how this site works? Can you just download the manuals for free and print them?
Actually, the vid card is for my Ex's new XPS 420 PC. I was considering an XFX because I've used several of them and they are virtually "bulletproof". I don't want to get any "Tech Support" calls on this rig, if you know what I mean.
But I'll check the Foxconn card out. Thx!
Can't find the p/s requirements at NewEgg or on the XFX website.

I tried several times to log-in early this morning (06:30EDT) and got the "Windows Live ID is down, try again later" error. Since then I've been using the same browser window and just clicking on my IE favorite for Hotmail and getting the same result. I just now used the same browser window to...
System Shock 2, man...what a game! Likely, a lot of you don't remember this one, but it scared the living sh#t out me on several occasions.
F.E.A.R. was good also, but not quite as scary as SS2.
Lately, the problem is no longer intermittent. The PC will now only start when I toggle the p/s power button first. Yeah??I wish I had a back-up p/s to swap it out with, but I don?t. But, I will check all the connections to the m/b. You?re probably right; it?s the p/s slowly dying on me. I guess...
What you mean my p/s isn't up to running an Opty, 3 h/d's, 3 case fans, 2 optic drives and a 7800GT?!.....jk
Lunyone: Good suggestion and link! I'll check that out and see what happens.
Lately when I turn the power on, the power lights come on, the case fans & cpu fan start running but nothing else comes on. I then manually turn the p/s off & on at the switch and the PC boots right up without incident. This started about a month after I upgraded from a FX-55@2.9 to a Opty...
My MP3/WMA collection has gotten out of control. So I bought a h/d for new music and to move all my existing music files to. Ok?here?s what I?ve done so far. I copied the entire C drive ?My Music? folder over to new drive. After confirming successful file transfers, I did a ?Search for Music...
Mr.Chad: Sorry, didn't read the FAQ's which were on a different page. Checking them out now!
<update> Hmmm...this is a bit more complicated than I expected, but I'll figure it out.
I?m talking about any and all updates released since my WinXP Pro Spk2 disc was made? The PC in question, only has a dial-up conncetion. So I would like to use a friends DSL to download and burn a CD. Does such a page exist?
Thanks guys, good feedback! For those keeping score, my stepping by the way is: LCBQE
So far, I'm rock solid with default voltage at 2808. Actually...it was stable at 2871(319x9) also, but would not post at 2934(326x9), even after bumping the voltage up several times. So I backed it down to...
That's the core temp (in bios) after several hours of ORTHOS. Couldn't get Speed Fan to run, it did not recognize my m/b. Hopefully, AS5 will start kicking in and help me out after a while.
Anything below 70C is ok for this cpu, right?
