I think I need a new PowerSupply, advice..please

i think it is my ps. i am running a raid with 2 hds, 1 cdrw, and 4 fans and so far no locks up at ALL! before i had one additional hd, a pci card network card that is, and a slot fan. But yea now it seems fine, but darn i still have more hds and drives and stuff to connect, and i am sure this...

Linux File server for MS Software Access

Switch, link speed?

Say I have 2 8 port Fast Ethernet Switches. Now if both switches have 5 users connected to each of them, and then switch A is connected into Switch B, does this mean that switch A shares the 100mb bandwidth (switch connection) when dealing with any PC on Switch B? shank

50 degrees on CPU FAN from Volcano 9

Yes, it is a bit high. Usually it is preferable to be in the high 30's - low 40's on air cooling. the 50 degrees is not a killer, but could be a limiter on any OC efforts etc. i using heatsink that came with it. paste

RAID 0 Striping question

wait wait I don't know if you misunderstood me. I am going to setup the 2 HD for striping as raid 0. Not mirror. Now after you create the raid, you can create a partition rite.. Now I am confused where are you supposed to create 1 big 160gb partition, or can u create many partitions and not lose...

So if you have 2 80 gigs making a raid 0, so 160 gb total. Then when you FDISK, can you make say 4 drives out of that raid? or does that lower performance a little and i should create 1 big drive?
