KT7A Abit Motherboard CPU upgrade

So, I have a KT-7 Rev 1.01. Looking at prices of 1.4 Gig T birds (max speed capable apparently), there are 2, the 200 and 266 version. Will either work as long as my ram is 133? Thanks! All you guys are always so helpful and patient!!!

KT7A Abit Motherboard CPU upgrade

Forgive my ignorance but how do you tell the difference between KT7-RAID and KT7A-RAID? It's an unused system right now that I was thinking of upgrading the proc to something faster than a duron 650. Also, how do you know which REV 1.0/1.1/1.2/1.3? Thanks!

Before you do anything, look at AT&T wirless. I just got 250 minutes anytime/3000 minutes night and weekend for $29.99 and free wireless web that doesn't use your minutes. Perty sweet if you are in their area. Plus, the phone was $80 minus $50 Erikkson rebate and an AT&T $30 rebate = free.

CTX 19" monitor deal (and warning)

Any Radio Shack stores in the OK City area selling these that someone has found? Road Runner in OK City is $45/month which $15/month is cable rental fee. They just changed it from $5 rental fee.

Poll: Cable Descramblers!!

Doesn't this rely on your cable company using cable boxes? Every place I've lived in the past 5-6 years didn't use cable boxes. I just plugged cable from wall into tv. Can you still use them when you don't require a cable box in the 1st place?

maybe cheaper at radioshack, Startech 10 G. Tube Of Heatsink Thermal Transfer Compound $4.95

They are not glued. Thermal epoxy and other adhesives bond whereas thermal transfer compounds usually don't. I'm using this and it has not hardened and is still the same consistency as when I applied it.

Quick Poll: Problems with replacing BX based mobo with Abit KT7?

That's what I had heard. Well, I guess it's time to reinstall or at least get ready to reinstall win2k. I do admit that I let win2k install itself onto one of my drives and make it NTFS which is completely useless for me to do. I guess it's time to back up and reinstall as FAT32. Thanks!

Save money on any razor blades

Well, I usualy got about a week, give or take a couple of days, from Gillette Mach 3 blades. After that, they started to make my neck burn. I've been using the same blade for 2 weeks now and it doens't burn. Oh, it does seem to affect the lubricating strip but it doesn't seem to affect the shave.

I'm getting ready to o/c my duron 650. I haven't received it yet but I want to go ahead and get a peltier unit to hook up to a hs. Is a 72watt sufficient? I've got several huge heatsinks that I'm gonna try it on. Thanks!
