    yeah, i have this board now and i'll say i've never had a problem with the sound, it even sounds good in my Sennheiser headphones...better quality than other onboard solutions i heard so as long as you're happy with stereo instead of 5.1 everything's legit

    yeah disc t@2 ain't great, but this drive does have an 8mb buffer, audio master mode, and it burns the best audio cds too bad i just got a 40x liteon :)

    i agree with ripthesystem...unless you're serious into 2D/3D/Video editing, you're going to have a hard time justifying 1 gig of ram...i'd recommend sticking with 512, especially with the recent elevation in RAM prices over the past few months, and, should you decide that 512 isn't cutting it...
