Windows 7 Devices are connected but can't surf

Went ahead and got the Asus, thanks for the input. Just checked my machine, it already has a DVD drive, so I'll just stick with using Linux and watch any blue rays with my ps3. Didn't want to add on the cost of Win7 and a blu ray drive.

Thanks for the info. I checked Newegg and they didn't have any GT430 cards in my budget. So I'm going to try a cheap HD6450. For software, I'm looking at using Linux Mint with XBMC. I hope that's a good combo since I don't know anything about Linux.

Did heat kill my CPU or mobo or both?

It looks like the culprit was a bad power supply. When I took it back to the shop, they tested it with another power supply, and it worked. So hopefully that was the problem and it'll be working without any problems from now on.
