Does this monitor really come with the speakers? Because I was thinking about doing the KDS 17" from OD for 80 bucks... but 30 dollars cheaper and speakers... small sacrifice of screen size... So what do you think? 17" KDS w/ 3 yr warranty? 15" Compaq w/ speakers?

nm... $30 rebate's only good on 8900... http://www.visioneer.com/purchase/f2000rebate.html so I guess this thing's not free after all... <sigh>... but 10 bucks ain't bad

AGAIN staples has Visioneer One Touch 8100 Scanner has a 70.00 rebate on it

The current Staples price is $99.99 minus a $70 Staples rebate and Visioneer has a $30 rebate so the net price is still tax on $99.99 Are you sure all B&M stores have the $30 rebate? So wouldn't Visioneer post the rebate on their website? btw...The $70 rebate is for the 8100

I think it's only $59.99 in B&M. So if you order it online for in store pickup, you end up paying $79.99. How about just checking inventory online and them going to the store? You can also try calling a store with it in stock and asking that they hold one for you. Whaa? Previous posters have...

If you buy or have an extra cf card, you will need to buy or have a reader for it. That means I'll actually have to go out and buy a CF reader to use the card? Could I use the CF slot in my PPC to transfer the pics to my HD or will the card have to be formatted first?

I'm wondering, will the pictures be able to be downloaded from the CF in the camera without a CF reader? And the 2x zoom thing, does that mean the pictures are set at 2x zoom and there's nothing you can do about it cept physically move the camera around?
