Are hotdogs a healthly choice of food?

Seriously. Hamburgers are not THAT bad for you, if you get the 90% lean patties you can make a fairly decent burger (still ~50% calories from fat, but what are you gonna do...). Hot dogs, on the other hand, are about the worst thing you can possibly put in your body. I'd say worse than bacon...

Anyone know of any contact lens providers that don't verify your prescription?

In my experience at a couple of the online contacts places, they make a "good faith" effort to get ahold of the doc. if they can't, they ship them anyways....

Gaining 10 LBs by Sunday evening? (70 hours)

you'd be amazed how much weight is actually water. I'm 6'2" and weigh about 220, and can easily gain/loose 5-7 pounds day to day just from water, food intake digesting, etc. So before the weigh in, drink an amazing quantity of gool ol h2o. ;)

Dual Core AMD Opteron and Athlon64 X2 Previews

never mind, of course, that you're comparing the prices of AMD's SERVER CHIPS and Intel's DESKTOP CHIPS... Opterons are pricy. Always have been. The Desktop Athlon64x2s, I would imagine, will be far more affordable.

Will The Hammer Run 32 Bit Apps Faster Than A Same Clocked Athlon?

As to the 2nd part of the question: Probably not too many consumer apps will go 64bit for quite a long time. Really, the only point of 64bit software is in the server arena and for certain niche applications. however, a 64bit windows XP will be available.
