I do not overclock anymore. This primary desktop is on 24/7 and is rebooted about once every few months. Stability is more important than speed, especially when I have to remote desktop into it.
Already received all the parts (Ryzen 3700z, GSkill 32GB RAM, Sabrent 1TB NVME, x570 motherboard)...
The Sabrent looks impressive. It will cost $190 with the heatsink. I can get an Open Box Samsung 970 Evo Plus for $165 from Bestbuy....decisions.
Is the Sabrent reliable for every day use ?
I am actually thinking of upgrading now. Appears that Zen 4 will be 9+ months away. Still need a motherboard recommendation.
Asus TUF Gaming x570-plus wifi is $175+tax (but has Realtek LAN and s1200 audio). Everything else is ~$225+
Thank you for the input. I will delay the upgrade to Q3/Q4 of this year. Desktop upgrading is not like it used to be ~10+ years ago (we were upgrading every year back then).
