I currently own the 1100U and have had the 1100 and 2200 models....It's normal 10Mbps ethernet, I think orangeman mistyped the speed. It usually downloads at approx 2000-3000kbps (2-3 Mbps) and uploads at around 128k-256kbps on Time Warner Roadrunner. Decent cable modem....

The only thing to watch for in the Sonys are the Trinitron models. They tend to have the thin wire 1/4 of the way from the bottom and top of the monitor. Not a defect, but somewhat annoying on white backgrounds....they perform nicely though...

I'm getting a strange transparent EMI interference on my monitor running from the Geforce2 mx400 card. It seems to vary in intensity and pattern (kinda like watching tv w/rabbit ears). I've seen multiple posts online about this "interference" issue, but have yet to see any type of resolution...
