I was trying to grab the Crucial M500 480GB. I already have one and I am going to try a RAID 0 array on a new build. I ended up getting in on the Amazon deal for $159.
Still worth it to me for shipping alone. Video and books are just a bonus. 9 times out of 10, I will order from Amazon over Newegg, just for the return policy. No restocking fees.
I now use all my rebate cards to immediately buy Amazon gift certificates. They can be any amount and don't expire. I buy more from Amazon than anywhere else.
For these things that require credit card subscriptions, I always use virtual CC numbers for a couple of dollars and make them expire...
It has 7.2 Analog Pre-Outs.
I have it and have been very happy with it. When I first got it, it had a lot of HDMI handshake issues when changing resolutions. You would end up with a pink screen. This was virtually eliminated via a firmware update.
From what I have read, with a PFC that high, it is probably Active PFC. Last week during the hurricane, I learned the difference between the two UPS types. I have a PC running a PPC 750W power supply on an APC 750G UPS. When the power went out, the PC shut off immediately. Apparently, this is...

Much better price than the original $129. Still not sure if it is worth it over on-board nic.
Nice price for anyone that ever wanted...
It is the new Technet subscription that strips out Enterprise versions. It is called Technet Standard. They still have Technet Pro with all of the software.
I am not sure what happened, but Amazon credited me back the 1.99 saying it was a promotion discount. Free is even better than $2. Anyone else have that happen?
I took a quick look the other night when I opened the box. There is a plate between every second bay. The EX-23 would probably fit. I have a Silverstone 4 3.5 into 3 5.25, and this one will not fit without modification.
If you really are a student, you can get the developer tools free through MSDN DreamSpark.
