Hi, i would like to make a mini cd writer station with my pc.....izzit possible to connect 2 cd writer to the same ide channel...one would be master and the other slave....and copy the same content from hdd with both writer runnin simultaneously?
I cannot afford those standalone 5-6 dedicated cd...
If your Cel633 is a SL4NX,you'll be in better luck.I'm currently testing a 6309 Master with ATA100 Southbridge.Boots fine at 1.7v to 950Mhz.Felt it ran much more stable at 1.75v in WinME.Tried 105MhzFSB at 1.8v-1.85v but occasionally hangs in 3DMark2000/WinME so reverting baq to 950Mhz/1.75v.

Intel OR-840(dual p3 with AGP slot) or Intel D850GB(single p4 with 1.5volt AGP slot). Both runs dual channel RDRAM hence 4 RIMM slots.....also have to install 2 RDRAM at any one time.

Asus P4T(usd250) available in another 2 weeks,Intel D850GB(usd220) available now.A-Open AX3T(usd230) in 3 weeks,Gigabyte GA-8TX(usd220) in 2 weeks.

If you can wait, Intel D815EEA will have a new sku comin out soon without the hardware sound sometime in Dec......it will be cheaper then......anyway its still is chealer than an Asus CUSL@ now.

Intel D815EEA is currently on quanhold. You still can use the PeP66 with any of the said boards(Asus,Intel,MSI).I use a glue gun to secure the original fan on top and another fan on the side.....i think i saw it from HardOCP.....works wonders......louder cause by 2 fans.....temp drop another 4deg...
Don't know about the RMA's elsewhere but we get Intel's AWR in South East Asia. That means if the board fails, call the ICS and the board will arrive the next day FedEx at no extra cost.Insert the faulty board back into the shipping box and FedEx will collect again at no cost.
Different matter if...
Bios ver 1.2 does not permit voltage above 1.85v.Not all P3P 700 cBO stepping will boot at 133fsb....mine's a SL45Y Philippine and it only goes up to 840mhz.But a Cel600 SL4NX will go up to 112fsb on my 815EPro.Is your P3 700 a Malay or Philippine?...that can make a difference.

I noticed you do not have an AGP card.If you main concern is Audio editing and very little or no gaming,I would like to suggest you look at Intel's new dual FC-PGA Tupelo board(STL2).Onboard scsi160,2 PCI66,ServerWorks chipset, onboard 4mb ATI rage display, onboard lan and Intel's reknown server...
P3 700E and 6337.Bios shows 46-49deg Cel for CPU.MBM in Window ME shows 40deg CPU and 38deg system during idle.CPU is at 51degCel Max during load and system is at 42degCel max.Looks normal to me.Celeron(Not o/c) cpu temp will be around 35degCel at idle and 56degCel Max under load.

Sorry,
Let me rephrase that:
Gigabyte 6VXE7+.Bios does not have a CPU voltage adjust but there is a 'magic' jumper on the m/board that increases CPU voltage by 10%.I left that jumper at 'default' position.
I've tested another 2 Cel600 same spec(SL4NX) and both ran fine at 900Mhz at 'default'...
If i didn't know you were using that board,i would've recommended the same.Unless your looking for hardware monitoring which the D815EEA doesn't have.

Compuwiz,
Have you ever tried BX-Master+AsusS370-133+Cel566? The most i can get it to run stable is 90mhz FSB at 1.8vCore.Tried 95mhz but hangs during 3DMark2000.Also runnin Kingston PC133 ValueRam and Rage Fury Maxx.
Thnx,
Wixer
MisterM, tried directdraw on Geforce and still "feels" slower than the S3.
Zucchini, i know 64 is not nuff...waiting for the kingston 128mb stic....
thnx
Wixer
Hope i Don't get flamed for this....
Everyone said they sold tons of Overclock Athlons......and Everyone said their P3P 550E overclock like a gem....the big picture is....ever wonder why Intel sells a lot more CPU than AMD....a whole lot more...You tell me.
Rgds,
Wixer
I encounter some problem runnin D2 in the following setup:
