I do believe xp is much better but the Win2k box would be a bit to slow with xp.
I have added a Win2k Box to my workgroup and it can see everything shared on the network but when I try to access the Shared drives on the win2k box over the network I get asked for a user name and passwork even though I haven't set one. Help

57 at full load won't fry your cpu but it is a little warm.
I have a AMD 1.4 in one of my computers that never gets above 44C but I have good air circulation in my case.
Antec SX-1030B is my case and it has 2 fans blowing out in the back and 2 that blow in from the front.
If you want top stability I would go with a second generation AMD 761 mobo.

I will not be using RAID for atleast a couple of months so I was wondering can I just use the extra IDE channels for non ATA 100 Drives with out the controler enabled?
I am new to this mobo and would like to know which drivers I should load for in XP.
I would think since XP is new the drivers would be installed when loading OS but you never know.
Also if you are running this board what do you think about it?

Your monitor remembers settings for each rez and refresh rate you use but you have to set them up.
If the game is set to a different rez than your desktop then it will not fit your screen if it hasn't been setup before.

I am not an expert on this and I am sure some of the other guys here can answer you question better but I believe there is a limit to the amount of IRQs that a mobo can have due to current mohterboard technologies. Probley because of something intel did. No Joke.
When Windows can't find files on the CD you need to look other places for the files.
Alot of times the files your system is looking for are in windows system or system32.
Also when installing drivers off of a disk sometimes you have to keep directing windows to that location for the files...
