I think that I am getting a KT333 since I just fried my KT266A board. But if there is another KT333 revision coming out, then I will wait for it...
Any one might know what exactly is going on?
Thank you

it doesn't matter what the FSB is at, the multiplier just won't go above 10.5 or less than 6 or 8 or 9.. cannnot remember.. something like that..
but, it just won't be above 10.5 or less than one of those numbers above.
The CPU is an AthlonXP 1600+ unlocked with Tom's Hardware's method. (by connecting the L1 bridges using conductive liquid)
I was able to lower the multiplier below 10.5 and above 6 I think. But no more than 10.5 or less than 6. Anything higher than 10.5 or less than 6 the machine would not boot...

The only scenario that I can think of when a CPU died under O/c condition is that when the fan isn't pluged.....
or you have too much voltage, and not enough cooling.... which it fried the CPU....
<< put your 1600 back in
your pencil lead connections could be at fault.
try erasing them >>
The unlocking was from the manufacture.. the L1 bridges weren't cut.
I tried the disasemable, but still same thing......
~sigh.....
.. I'll put the 1600+ back in and see what happens.
um.... it was working with the Athlon 1600+ (locked). But since I have a Duron 600 unlocked, so I thought I will swap the Duron and see how high the FSB will go with the lowest multiplier.
Once I booted up with the Duron and set the multiplier to 6 and FSB to 150, then reboot... there's nothing...

<< Have you even heard of Reuters? They don't doctor photos. And on top of that, the photograph was on the MSNBC web site.
Some of you are so cynical that it's sickening. >>
It doesn't mean that the picture on MSNBC and Reuters isn't necessary edited. It can be edited from the source that...
