You would think it is from all that description. I wonder if it is indeed 'smart' but has a timer control for overcharging that only goes up to 12 hours. It would be great if someone, maybe Cybordolphin, ask about this in their technical forum.
Since many people are talking about CD-R quality, here is something to be aware of if you aren't already: Can't read CD-R after 20 months!
Thanks OP for the post. Went in a CompUSA Thursday night to pickup Instant CD/DVD (FAR until Thursday). Saw this deal and picked up Splinter Cell, Raven...
They all have memory effect. Li-Ion has the least, then NiMH, then NiCd.
Here is a good article in Home Power Magazine (pp. 35-36 in the file). Note: The PDF is about 2.4 MB.
Will these (SK-7 and Panaflo fan) work with the Duron 750 (oc to 850)? I assume they will work with the 1.1 Tbird later when I upgrade as well. Is that right? I have the Abit KT7A-RAID MB.
Well, running at 56 C right now is killing the Duron... :frown: If I upgrade my BIOS I think it will be worst. I have an Abit KT7A-RAID (1.1).
Also, I assume I can still use the same SK-7 and fan when I upgrade to an Athlon T-bird 1.1 GHz. Right? I think that's the fastest processor the MB...
Will this work with Duron 750 MHz? Do I need to get a Panaflo fan too?
My Duron 750 MHz (oc'ed to 850 MHz) with OEM fan runs way too hot with high CPU usage (> 56 C)!
Is this combo the best bang for the buck?
Actually, the base station w/ answering system (43-3815) is $80 - $30 in-store coupon = $50. Not sure if in-store price is the same as online price ($80). The base station w/o answering system (43-3529) is $60 (no coupon).
It's good that you found that $30 Roxio rebate. Somehow it isn't showing up in RebateHQ.com. I wonder if they will still honor it. Otherwise, the $20 one on Amazon.com isn't good for only VideoWave (you need both VideoWave & Easy Creator).
Just a clarification of the return/re-purchase with only the receipt (I've done my first one this week):
They can do a return/re-purchase by keying in the sales number and SKU number(s) on the receipt, so you do not need to bring the items back for them to scan the UPC(s).
Has anyone notice that there is a slight buzzing sound when the backlit is on (for the 2107)? I compared two of mine and one is noticably louder. However, this one is more light sensitive so it doesn't turn on the backlit as often like the other one.
Does anyone know what the original OD coupon with the code looks like? Is it a paper coupon mailed to individual? The manager wouldn't accept just the code and said there is a bar code on the sheet.
I have a Power Comtec (by PowerRex) that came with the no name case. I do have an ATI AIW 128 Pro. The flickering isn't that bad on this second one, but the compression and wavy lines annoy me the most.
What OS, resolution, and refresh rate do you run yours at? I'm disappointed with the display's quality. I exchanged it once and it is better, but still slightly compresses at the top edge and some flickering at the bottom right corner. Wavy lines on the background as well. Easiest to see...
Got one a couple of nights ago for $109.61 (including tax) AR!!! :D It was a HUGH YMMV... and kind of funny. Here is what happened:
Saw two of them at clearance on Saturday but didn't know about the rebate or the coupon. One was tagged $197.90 and the other $157.90. Read this thread that...
I don't think ING Direct has any of those fees, but NetBank definitely does! Too many to mention. You've got to read their long list of fees under the title "COMMON FEATURES:"
I was hit by the inactivity fee a few times (they have two different ones), and almost got the closing fee ($7.50 if...
According to the WD website, rebate forms are posted on retailer websites. Outpost.com has one and microcenter.com has one. Both of them specifies the retail location.
I still get the:

Correct me if I'm wrong. I thought the Citi Price Protection Program (BVG) on their Diamond Preferred Card does not work with Internet purchase. Here is a quote from their web site:
Is there another Citi card that works like the AMEX BVG?
