For those of you not in or near Upland, CA...
I just found a website that has the Image 2B's for $5 less, plus they are unblemished. They carry lots of other PSBs, but I didn't take the time to compare all the prices.
Thanks, this looks like a pretty sweet deal. Actually, their website says, "This is the greatest speaker buy we have ever had!" Shipping seems pretty reasonable too. He quoted me around $30 to Chicago to ship the Image 2B's.
That's a funny analogy, but I don't think it quite works. Stores function around the idea of a transaction. There are three basic transaction types that we're talking about here:
(1) A sale -- the store reduces its merchandise inventory, and increases its $$$.
(2) Robbery -- the store...
YES! It was a success. It was a slight hassle (waiting for people to call their managers for authorization, who called their managers for authorization...) but it worked out fine. Walmart does have a lowest-price guarantee, but I'm not sure that it's nationwide company policy to match online...
I just called WalMart, and the lady there told me that they would match a price from a website. So I'm going to print the Buyrite page and try my luck there. I'll post back later with my results...
Maybe I'm naive, but I think that only a small percentage of gamers are interested in the deals for both PS2 and Xbox. So why should we put them together into one thread???
I've been reading reviews, as I am about to purchase Xbox (now that the price has dropped). I'm a sports-gamer, so those types of games are heavy on my list. But here are the ones I plan to purchase:
Halo
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3
Project Gotham Racing
Fifa Soccer 2002
NFL Blitz 20-02
The Sega...
Suh-weet!
I just stocked up on accessories today @ KB Toys: official MS controllers and DVD kit for 50% off (as mentioned in another thread). Now all I need is the console! :)
Please keep us posted on which retailers might be offering the best packages/deals tomorrow.
This is pretty funny... everybody that followed his link is shopping with the same cart! All the shoes and information is being combined and messed up! Lol.
<< I didn't know this was a for sale board. If that's the case I have over 100 I will sell at $35 each since I got them at Depot for $4.99
They have been $49 for a couple months. >>
First, you fell into the "Is / Ought" fallacy. The fact that people have made this into a personal garage...
<< I am going to see if I can get an Open box Panasonic 27SX11 later today. I'm going to try to tell the store not to put "open box" on the receipt... Do you think this will work for PM'ing Amex Blue? B/c I think they only check the receipt to verify that its the correct model number...
<< Does anyone know of any place in the boston area to get the SX11? All the CCs seem to only have the SX12. I doubt AMEX PM will work for that model. Any other suggestions of how I can get in on this deal before AMEX PM expires? >>
This was posted earlier, but in case you didn't see it...
I was about to check out, and now every page on the site says "CLOSED -- Our online store is currently closed for maintenance. Please visit us again soon."
Awww nuts!!!
:(
Thanks for the cool offer!
<< From Yahoo! Maps:

These guys literally live down the street from me :Q

Only 19.3 miles from me!
You might try getting Best Buy to pricematch for a lower price on the Neo, and then you should still receive the giftcard. There are several merchants listed on ZDNet's pricegrabber that offer lower prices, all the way down to $148. I don't know if BB would honor their prices, but it doesn't...
<< Just purchased mine for $475+tax from CircuitCity. No PM hassle, it is currently on sale at all CC stores in Mass, not sure if it is a nation wide though. Already send in the copies for AMEX to PM.:) >>
Yes, I believe that is a nationwide sale... at least that's the price I paid in...
<< Deal may be dead now as best buy has removed the listing from the website. Can anybody else confirm this please....
Thanks >>
That's not correct. Here's the link.
Don't scare me like that, man! I'm putting in my claim today. :)
<< Missionary Clothing
Um... What, or Who, is this place ? >>
Let's see... Missionaries, Salt Lake City...
These socks are specially designed for your own Mormon Missions Trip!
Yeah, you can probably just present the coupon at your local tabernacle. :)
I realize this is a little off-topic, but...
Can someone point me to a good place for a newbie to start with car audio -- what's needed, which brands are best, etc? Thanks a lot!
Does anyone feel guilty for taking advantage of these companies' promotions? Or do you all just sign up for the offers you are legitimately qualified for?
And don't tell me that just anyone is qualified for all of these offers. Let's pretend we're not stupid.
