I just got the pcmods.com 4 switch .. 6watts perswitch fan controlling baybus and i was wondering ... how would i do it so i can put more than one fan per switch.. there is a little place when you put the black then red wire and use the srewdriver to press down on the wires... do i put more than...

Fan Baybus, any suggestions?

they are 80mm panaflo H1a fans... and 1 120mm L1A fan... hdd fan (32db) ... and psu fan (not sure how loud)...

Fan Baybus, any suggestions?

I need one of those fan controlling baybus'.. i found one for $23 on f.r.o.z.e.n.c.p.u.c.o.m that has 4 switches in which each switch can be turned 12v, off, or pre-defined voltage (5V-11V lownoise)... i was thinking about getting that one ... im going to hook up 8 fans.. each swtich can hold 6W...

How to lower temperature

the things you could do are 1. Lower the temp in room (biggest helper) 2. Add more intake fans, even rear (help more than outake trust me, lowered my temps 10c when i tryed it) 3. Put your computer under a vent or air conditioner hole

i think he underclocked his system (videocard) ;) to overclock it, you have to make the mhz numbers go higher (lamemen terms) and wtf is up with the 7mhz overclock, my granny could do better than that

cas 2 or cas 2.5?

i ran sandra burn-in test for 20 times with amd athlon xp 1900+ at 1740 at an fsb of 145... with cas 2 at first... and well it was unstable and reboot... but for cas 2.5 at the same speed with a voltage of 2.55 it passed 20 times the cpu and mem burn in test... then an hour of 3dmark.. no...

cas 2 or cas 2.5?

How much better is cas 2 over 2.5... I had to up my voltage from 2.55 to 2.85 to get windows to boot... is it worth the extra voltage and heat generation?

Abit KR7A-133R Voltage Increase?

Sorry for posting again but ss there a "tweaked" bios version for the Kr7a-133r motherboard that you can raise the voltage for core higher than 1.85V or another way that voltage can be raised higher than 1.85V....???? because i would like to try to run it at 1.90v but voltage for core can only...

Is there a "tweaked" bios version for the Kr7a-133r motherboard that you can raise the voltage for core higher than 1.85V....???? because i would like to try to run it at 1.90v but voltage for core can only from 1.1V to 1.85V...any suggestions

Prime 95 vs. Sandra, 3dmark, and Pcmark

I know Prime 95 does a more thorough test... but it tests for calculations, every little detail... but does this really determine how stable your overclock is... or would 3dmark or other bench marking tests be more precise as to stabability and not just every single calculation done by the processor

Miracle Temperture drop! By just reversing some fans!

did i mention i put my computer under the air conditioner in ceiling so cold air is blowing at the rear... and my ambient room temperature is 69F?

I searched everywhere and tryed everything from reversing the fan on the side to adding 2 fans to the heatsink and it screamed like a banshee because I was getting such high temps such as 51c idle/58c full load with prime95.... and I was like WTF i have the second best Heatsink on the market...

for those people with 2.4 ghz from a 1.6a p4 (800mhz increase) run prime95... hahaa... you'll get an error within the minute... hehe..

Hey dude... i just put 2 Panaflo H1A's over my heatsink and my idle temps are now 43C... 2 Panflo H1A's come 80CFM... no wonder they put those huge delta's that produce 80CFM at 52B... my computer now sounds like a screaming machine...

You know what, I just put 2 Panaflo H1As on the heatsink each 39CFM and its 42 Degree's celcius idle... havent got full laod temps yet... well it produces kind of a screaming sound now... but its cool and provides 80CFM on the heatsink... no wonder these heatsink that come with a fan, have a...

High Temps

the temps are coming from Hardware Monitor... i had MBM before... but hardware monitor displays same temps as MBM.. the fan is blowing on the heatsink..... its 39cfm.. thats fairly good, iv seen people have it with L1A fans at 24cfm and have lower temps... EDIT: I just turned the fan around...

What I heard on one forum, to find the actualy clock cycles for a processor amd and p4, you take its cpu speed.. for example a p4 1.6a northwood overclocked to 2.4 and multiply it by 6 and you get 14,400 clock cycles.... and then you take a amd athlon xp processor speed for example my processor...

no cas 2 still didnt work.. it did post.. but when laoding in to windwos it gave the blue screen..... even tho i set it back to 2.5 should i keep command drive strength hi and TRAS at 6t and ddr voltage at 2.75v or set back to Lo,5t and 2.55? also the nvmax question...? and is my ram running at...

WinXP Pro will not let me use FAT

Are you talking about after you install the OS or in installation because if you have already installed the os and trying to format a partition, it is because the partition is too big, I had the same problem... I formatted a 40 gig and 25 gig partions ... 40 for games and 25 for appz... but...
