Sorry I didn't reply earlier. Anyway, the answer is yes; by SPD ratings I'm referring to the latency settings specified by the memory manufacturer and read by the mobo when the dram is set to "auto".
Personally, I'd just keep it for an internet surfing machine and save your gaming machine for gaming. I've just recently acquired almost the identical machine you've identified (except it has a crappy oem onboard graphic device - probably 8mb or less) and use it for surfing the net and e-mail.
Anyone got an idea how to assign an IRQ to an AGP Video Card on this board? No one replied to my previous request for assistance and since that time I did a little more digging. The manufacturer of the card (VisionTek Ti4600) states that the card cannot share an IRQ with any other devices...
