Thanks for the info! Does adding another 100 bucks to the budget make any significant difference in the components I can choose and their performance?
It looks as though the choices are really coming in Mobo/CPU and videocard. For RAM and SSD I'm just looking for the cheapest price with the...
No that was my mistake, I'd like to include a video card in this upgrade as well. The components I'd like to upgrade are video card, CPU/MOBO, RAM, and add and SSD. My budget is slightly flexible, if $50-$100 more makes a night and day difference I could probably go a little higher.
I'm long overdue for an upgrade to my system and it's time to make this happen. I haven't really kept up with the market so any guidance will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the updated information. So it looks like most of the components stayed the same which works for me. What is the main diff between the previously suggested video cards and the card now?
My budget is approx the same lets say between 500-600. I don't think I'll be overclocking this system. I'm looking to take advantage of anything I can get on Cyber Monday.
I did not get a chance to upgrade my system back in July. Would the specs that were suggested in this thread from July still be the best options for an upgrade now? Has anything changed since those were proposed?
Thanks for the help! Let me add a couple of questions into the mix. If I'd also like to get an SSD in that budget is it possible without significant compromise on performance elsewhere? Also if I was to use the lower end of the budget at $550 what changes would you recommend to the components...

Quick question...Wondering what would be the better option between:
2 sticks of Corsair Value RAM Cas3 (512x2=1Gig)
or
1 stick of Geil Golden Dragon Cas2 (512x1=1Gig)
Wondering which is configuration would give me better overall performance with little or no overclocking on an 3000XP with...
Snuck in on this just placed order over the phone. Total came to $219-10%-free shipping-30 rebate=$183. Very nice find! Got in on the amazon deal as well so we'll see if that goes through...
I saw them both and my vote would go to Bourne Identity. Sum of All Fears was to slow for me, Bourne Identity kept me glued to my seat and Matt Damon was very believable in this role. I actually enjoyed Bourne Identity better than some Bond flicks.
Never thought about it, but I would imagine the possibilities of "catching" something from trying on clothes is probably about as likely as winning the lottery. Yes I try them on first why would I want to purchase something take it home only to find out I got to drive back to the store to...
I had my Integra tinted for $150 that included the driver side, passenger, two smaller side windows and the rear. Make sure that you get metallic tint and not any type of film that is just dyed. The dyed tint turns a purple color after prolonged time in the sun. I didn't have any problems...
I use Roger Wilco, never had a problem with it and it was easy to set up. The only thing I've found is that there's a slight delay, but you only notice it when your talking on the phone at the same time. I usually call my dad to ask him if he wants to play a game so I'm on the phone when we...
Used ZA and didn't like it (it seemed to be a resource hog) switched to Kerio/Tiny and I'm much happier. Also using a Linksys router and Norton Internet Security which I got with my cable modem, but I never installed it to try it out.
No charge I believe and they should prorate the month you paid for, so actually unless you cancel the policy on your monthly due date you will get money back.
I dunno maybe it has something to do with the surface of the cubes being flat on the squares and curved on the cylinders? I do know it's possible to make fire from ice though...
