At 1.725v your fine ,once something is stated on a forum alot of people think it's gospel , even at 1.75v the chances of electromigration are minimal .
Actually Jiffylube there are quite a few 1.8a's get to 2.6 ghz and higher ,I've seen them as Ive gone to different o/c websites, however they are the exception and not the rule, I run mine at 2.682ghz no problem.

Batches or where it's manufactured from have no relevance at all , and anyone who try's to tell you different is full of it . My 1.8a was manufactured in March and is a fantastic overclocker, it seems your one of the few who got one that won't.
