Kazaa on linux?

I know someone had said they were able to use kazaa inside wine but I just get errors, so I tried to install it but it tells me I need IE. I download IE fromt he corporate site and try to install but get a message that it needs windows. How can I get kazaa to work in wine? Or is there a better...

I have never tried installing from FTP. Perhaps I will give it a shot. edit: it looks like 8.0 isn't available in ftp. anyone know when it will show up?

I would rather not buy also, but I don't mind the $40 I guess to get Suse if it is worth it. I bought Redhat 5.1 a long time ago and was not happy with it. I did enjoy Suse 6.0, also a purchase, a while back also. I have had broadband for a couple years now so I would prefer to download, but...

What should I do? Linux question.

I am thinking about buying suse linux 8.0 personal but I don't know, should I just wait and download redhat 7.3 or what? I'll mostly use it on my laptop and desktop and possibly a desktop at work. I am not experienced enough for gentoo or slackware and the others, so what do you guys suggest?

ghost 5.1d and 7.5 problems with Intel Pro100SR

Can't get either version to "see" the .gho files on a mapped network drive when booting with a network boot disk. Using MS-DOS not PC-DOS. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is there a free DOSNTFS boot disk....

I didn't see anything at that site either. I would suggest you pay for NTFSDOS Pro. It comes with chkdsk so you can boot with a dos/win bootup disk and run chkdsk. I use this all the time at work, well whenever a user trashes their computer and realize they forgot to do backups for the last 8...

Help with linux fonts please.

I have been trying for two days to get the fonts changed on my redhat 7.2 system. I took some TTFs from my desktop and attempted to do what the HOWTO's told me but I still couldn't do it. Could someone please post the easiest way to get decent fonts, especially netscape. :) TIA.

Has anyone started using KDE3 yet? Not the beta but the stable release? I am curious because I decided after all my problems with the rpms that I would just wait till one of the distros release a new revision later this month with KDE3. I'll just continue using what I have, which by the way is...

cd /where/you/downloaded/the/KDE3/RPMS rpm -e `rpm -qa |egrep ^kde` rpm -Uvh *rpm I saw this last night. My problem was this, I did this and got error messages saying that there were dependencies that would be broken. How can I login to the console without using a gui?

Thanks, I think I will just tough it out for now and keep banging at it to get this done. One thing I noticed when looking at that site is that most of the dependencies I am missing are from KDE2 packages. So should I install 2 and then just install 3? I read in the readme that you should...

Thanks, let me ask this. What is the best way to go if not redhat? I have used both Suse and Mandrake in the past. Since I am just building this system perhaps I should change course and move away from redhat.

What is bad temp for duron 1.2?

Motherboard monitor 5 (mbm5) is showing 54 c so should I be concerned? I had a blue screen with xp earlier and that is why I ask now. I am running the dragon orb 1 on my cpu. Should I get a different heatsink/fan combo?

How to completely erase all data on a disk?
