Small network, less than 24 ports. Why use a patch panel? Why not straight into a switch?

Thank you very much for this thread. It helped me a lot wiring the network at my office. I ended up using a 24 port patch panel and everything seems to work great. And I'm dying to see that Interop pic. :)

I received my watches yesterday evening. They look great! I don't see anything buffed off the back and they come with all the paperwork such as the manual, warranty, etc. I definitely give these guys two thumbs up! :)

I have three computers in the network. Two are Windows 2000 and one is Windows 98. The Win98 machine can see both Win2k machines. The first Win2k machine can see the Win98 machine but not the other Win2k machine. The second Win2k machine can't see any of the machines. All the hard drives on...

Keyspan USB Remote Control $20 after MIR

According to the manual ( http://www.keyspan.com/products/usb/remote/docs/win98/) you can use other remotes but it doesn't say anything about using another receiver.

I just finished playing with it. Here is my review. Installation was easy, I got the latest drivers from http://www.keyspan.com/products/usb/remote/downloads/ instead of using the CD. It comes with a 3 foot USB cable but I replaced it with a 6 foot so I could move the receiver around easier...

Death & Rebirth will be released by Manga Entertainment in May. I'm waiting for Escaflowne: The Movie which will be released on 7-23-02. Thats something else worth saving your money up for. ;) The standard edition will be $29.98 and the ultimate edition will be $49.98.
