meh, i know that i could be considered depressed as of late, well as of always. but it is just the way i am. i used to be passionate about sh1t, but i dont really care about much anymore. I feel like more of an oserver of the world and i have no desire to really be part of it..... just to exist...

bah, if i underclock it then i lose like 31 points on the SysMark TimeMachine Benchmark. and to all the foolios bitching about it being Gigawatts.... I am aware of it, so it everyone else, but that is the way it was pronounced in teh movies, so suck on it.

I hope that you are meaning to say CDRW, because dvdrom can read cdroms without any real issue. if i am wrong about your meaning, then just get a LiteOn.

OMG Firewire Issues ok, so i finally needs some HEP. i have a shitty computer here that belongs to the family, sister decided to get into DV editing and actually went out and bought software (silly sister). it came with a firewire card and the computar refuses to recognize it. my linux box...

it is true, blue light lasers will give you better density, but i recall a move to use UV light and multilayer discs resulting in 100gb+ discs. that was almost 5 or 6 years ago too

actually, if you goto B&M you can get the drive for free. after the sale, dont send in the rebate for the modem, just return it the next day, or grab something else you dont want that is the same price.

lol, not a bad deal i must say. Now i need to get a firewire pcmcia card to make full use of this. :P btw, with the rebates, if you read the form, you can send in two per drive....therefor it works.
