I just switched to IDE in the BIOS after the failed bootup. It was that simple. I went from a PC which would not boot into windows to functioning in less than 60 seconds.
Thanx for all of the kind words and support. I am not leaving forever, just need to step back for a little bit. I will lurk and see which project(s) people gravitate to and maybe follow the AT Herd with a machine or two.
I have shut all know installs down :(
I had been quesitoning my commitment to FaD and the related hydro bills recently and this has pushed me over the edge.
My production should be zero from here on, so if I am in your sights... smoke em if you got em and enjoy the ride.
When I was in...
There was a problem with the Full-Text index process.
I have kick started the index process and it is indexing as quick as it can.
With some luck, it should be caught up by the morning.
I will post an update in the AM to let everyone know the status.
I just verified the config on the new install and all looked fine
So, I set the Team # to zero and saved it, then opened setup again and set the team back to 2039. I did not send results inbetweeen the switch. I hope this does it.
I have always heard of these horror stories...
I have not left, but I did perform a new install on Thursday... I will have to check it's config to see what is up.
Sorry for the alarm, my heart, and points, are hear and always will be.
Dwight, glad to hear you are back on your feet. I wish you nothing but health and prosperity. I had feared that you had health problems, which IMHO are worse than $$$ problems.
Take care of yourself and I appreciate you attempting to make things right with Mondo and the Athlon race.

If you "attach code" it is fixed font and aligns very nicely... but it is a couple extra clicks.
Here is a sample of the code which I was using to align the stats. It is not elegant, or easy to setup but once it works it keeps working. In summary, I defined a column width for each column...
Woot! I made top dawg!
That is the good news and the bad news. When the ol' dog is the top dog you know something is up.
On a somewhat related note... The machine which I was performing my stats on was rebuilt a couple months ago. I have been slow in getting the FaD stats going again...
Geoffs, it sounds like you are doing the correct thing. Do what you have to do, and best of luck. If there is anything we can do... scream!
I hope your employer does not read the forums :Q
Sorry for missing last week's stats.
We have lost wischeez as a member and wish them and their 250341 points the best.
We have lost ta_slatz as a member and wish them and their 1135712 points the best.
I believe that wischeez and ta_slats did not actually leave us but joined THE...
What is the expected release date. The best I could find was June 21, 2005 from EBGames.
What kind of commitment is required to join the clan? Do I have to be available to practise a minimum # of hours/week?
I do not have a ton of free time but would love to join to ensure consistent...
Too bad about the lost jobs.
Too bad FaD beta's tend to suck so bad.
Do not get me wrong. I am a huge fan of beta software. At any given time I am usually activitly involved in at least one or two beta programs. In my experience FaD beta's are considerably less stable than any other...
I also noted that RA should have 2'nd place in about 3 months or so... unless the PC fairy makes a visit very shortly with a large load.
Keep on truckin'
Thanx for the stats!
Mondo, according to Geoffs' stats you should own 5'th place in the world of FaD before the end of the week. Here's to your hard work and dedication :wine:
