Having trouble with new monitor...help appreciated

I have 1x VGA and 1x DVI outputs on my video card...so really only one choice...DVI works on the video card because my last monitor was connected via DVI... I don't use any adapaters...i use the dvi cable that came with the gateway monitor...could it be a frequency issue?

Gigabyte P965 DS3 DDR2 Voltage Question

Hey guys, my memory is rated at 2.2 volts, I have heard that the DS3 defaults the voltage to 1.8. Does that mean I need to up the DDR2 OverVoltage by +.4 volts in the bios? I'm freezing up trying to install windows and i'm wondering what the problem could be. -Rick

you think it could be my version of windows? i believe my version has sp2 (only have the disc now) but i'm not 100% sure. I can't run it IDE because my motherboard (ds3) only has 1 ide slot, and that's taken by my dvd drive...which i need to install windows lol -Rick

I ran memtest86 through twice...passed both times I don't know how to change the timing settings on my board...i listed the bios options above, which ones do i change?

the SATA option is set to IDE...so that isn't the problem...temp isn't the problem either, I really have no idea what to play with as i don't want to do damage to my system...

Need Advice on which power supply to use in my C2D system

My new rig coming in is going to be a C2D e4300 OC'd to at least 2.7ghz, 2gb ddr2800 ram, 256mb evga 7600gt video card, gigabyte ds3 mobo, dvd/rw, serial ata 160gb hard drive. Which power supply should i go with? Raidmax 450w (rx-450k) or Ultra V Series 500W? or should I go with the FAR...

Networking Problem...Major!

my wireless router is a dgl-4300 gaming router (d-link). i use utorrent as my torrent client. i set my max upload speed to like 5 kB/s. The max #of connections was 450! I lowered it down to 20 for the time being...will that affect my download speeds? thanks.
