Likelihood of bad memory passing memory testers?

I'm pretty sure it's not a PS issue because I bought a new antec truepower 380W unit when my old crappy no-name blew. The freezing is driving me nuts, and it's really affected my thoughts on how useful a tool a computer can be if it's always doing this crap. thanks

My computer freezes all the time during games and part of the time out of them. Overheating isn't the problem (wasted a bunch of money on cooling solutions...). I figured the no name-brand memory is suspect, but I ran two memory testers (memtest86 and a microsoft one) for 2 days straight and...

My Linksys Router is dead

I would update the firmware. What's it for, then, if you shouldn't change it even if there's a problem? I've updated the firmware on a linksys router and it didn't break it, just follow directions and you shouldn't harm it.

Some thoughts about Frames-per-Second in games

Hell, I could very well say the same thing about this geforce 2 pro. All games, up until Battlefield 1942 and America's Army, play at very respectable framerates at max settings. Video tear is another story. Could my monitor be a candidate?

Anyone else getting refresh isses with Medal of Honor and their ATI Radeon?

Quake3 games must be stubborn or something, it completely ignores the fact that Vsync is enabled in display properties. And the "sync every frame" option within the game does absolutely nothing for me. What the hell is going on?

I have the same problem with Medal of Honor and any other Quake3 engine game. I believe it has something to do with bad drivers or something, because I've done everything humanly possible to try to get rid of it. I don't know about your case, but I'm guessing the problem is due to incorrectly...

Remember to change the file extension number 57 to 58 if you have the latest Wolfenstein version. Otherwise, the demo will not play.

Crap! I don't know why I put Abit there. I meant ECS. Thanks for the comments, I think I'll hold off as one person mentioned there isn't that much of a performance increase running in 1024x768 without FSAA.

Geforce4 On AMD 1.3GHz Sys.?
