Based on the above links, that means I got a p182 as well.
However, you guys are probably looking into this too much. I think that all current p180's now look like the link above. This just makes more sense from a manufacturing point of view.
If you buy a black or silver p180, you will...
That's how it is with the release of every new system. There's always a handful of launch titles, few of which are good. Then, there's a dead period as far as new games go.
Developers then begin to transition from the old systems to the new. After a while, more games start being released...
I have this case and other than my cpu fan which sounds like a jet engine, it is whisper quiet. Can anyone recommend a silent fan to go along with this silent case? I have a P4 1.6 by the way.
Hope this isn't a repost, but in today's SJ Mercury news there's a Fry's ad for a Pine 4x DVD-R/RW drive(rebadged Pioneer DVR-105) for $130 (no rebates involved!)
I just picked one up at the Palo Alto store and there were 2 or 3 left on the shelf. The drive is sold under the brand name "Pine"...
Note: these 5gb models are the versions with the "original" scroll wheel. Not that it's better or worse, some people actually preferred the scroll wheel to the touch wheel. Both Mac and Windows versions available and they do not come with a remote.
Still a fairly good deal at $150.
I've got a pass to go as well, but do I really need to show two forms of proof? And how exactly would they know if it is legit or not?
I have a business card and I can show a pay stub, but how do they know one way or another if my company is affilaited with the industry?
Someone PLEASE...
It's definitely a step down from your CRT. The only game I play is CS and I can tell you that in dark hallways and corridors, it becomes very hard to see other players, friends and foes. No matter how much you turn up your brightness, the characters simply blend into the dark. It makes it really...
For those of you asking if anyone would be willing to ship these to them:
Cost - $120
tax - 10
shipping - 10
That's $140 right there, then add $5-10 for that person's time and your total is now ~$150.
Is that still a hot deal for you guys? Not to mention what you're gonna do if the board or cpu...
Thanks for the input guys, I'll definitely pick up a card with DVI connections and check it out and decide then if I want to keep the monitor or not.
I do have the monitor set to 1280x1024 and I do see maybe not blurred text, but pixelated text at the least. And the flicker may be more of my...
When I first got this monitor, I was impressed due to it's large screen and space-saving size. I had a cheap 17" monitor that I planned to replace. However, the first thing I noticed is that text is blurry. With clear type and without, it's just not up to CRT standards. Another thing that bugged...
Just picked up 7 at the Palo Alto, CA store. There were at least a dozen more left on the shelf. For those of you interested, check the shelf on the far right wall when you first enter the store, they're not in the CDR isle.
Really?! I always thought Jansport was pretty good quality. All through elementary and high school, all I ever used were Jansports cuz they took all the abuse I could dish out on them.
I think I've only had one or two "break" on me, that's when my books finally tore through the bottom leather...
AAAHAHAHAHHA!!!
I didn't think another Anandtecher would know about Mad Dog 20/20!
GOD that stuff is horrible! Did you ever drink that blue one? That's the nastiest one!!! But if you can somehow down it, that's a damn good buzz you'll have!
It looks like Fry's has extended their Gamecube bundle.

Robotech - $50
$80 Instant Rebate
Total - $150
What's in fashion here at Anandtech:

glasses have always been cool here
pimples, or the appearance thereof
being overweight also helps
flood pants
bowl haircuts
anything Star Wars related
Yeah, DPS Nutrition has an awful looking site, but they deliver the goods!
I have ordered from them several times and my orders have always arrived within a week's time. They are on the opposite coast from me, so 7 days isn't too bad. Their prices are really good and shipping is fairly cheap.
I'd jump all over this deal if it wasn't for the fact that I already have this same mouse. These things usually go for $50. It's a good mouse, I don't know if it's worth $50, but I'd definitely pay $30.
I'll probably pick one up for a friend who's been wanting one of these but couldn't justify...
Hey, I was offered the same exact deal 2 weeks ago in Redwood City! I was at Home Depot walking to my car when the same black SUV with tinted rear windows pulled up offering me this "deal." Some young white guy was trying to sell me a 5.1 setup that retailed for $2,000! He had someone else in...
