    Coil whine... due to mouse?

    Is this even possible? It's a Logitech G500 wired USB mouse. With it connected, I get an annoying high pitched coil whine coming from my PC whenever I'm NOT moving the mouse. The sound goes away whenever I move the mouse on the screen. I can't really tell exactly where its coming from...

    You have to add some preware feeds to access the other kernels to get to 1.7ghz+. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1230912 Make sure you follow the directions exactly or the feeds won't show up. I'd recommend the warthog kernel to get to 1.7.

    It has happened to me before on a multi monitor setup. Guiminer would keep trying to restore onto my secondary display even with it disabled in windows. Turned the display back on and there is was!

    Latest python using guiminer. I noticed some issues with afterburner 2.1 also on 11.7. OC and fan settings weren't always initializing right away on bootup. Had to manually apply it to get the settings to kick in.

    Why pay more for less performance just for a possible upgrade later, which would cost even more! Go with a 460sli. Right now the 460 is the best bang for the buck, which means its value won't drop as much as a 480 will when you sell it to help pay for your next upgrade.

    Most likely it's a 47ohm resistor. At 12VDC, the current through the ZM-F2 is 0.25A, so it's equivalent to a 48 ohm resistor (Voltage=Current x Resistance). With the inline resistor the current is cut in about half (0.115A), so the total resistance with inline resistor is twice than before.

    I prefer to rip w/ DVD decrypter, re-author with DVD Shrink using no compression, and finally use InstantCopy to do the re-ecoding. InstantCopy is much slower, but gives much better quality. Yeah, it's a long process, but I'm happy with it :)

    I tried both USB hubs on each monitor, same disconnecting problem... it's pretty annoying when I have the speakers on and the windows detect sounds keep going off. :frown: But I'll try hooking it up to my laptop to see if it does the same thing.
