Hey Neutralizer, just a word of caution. You wouldn't want to use anything metal on the heatsink because the metal would create scratches which would lessen the effectiveness of the heatsink. If you do use metal, you'll have to do some lapping to get rid of the scratches.
Actually GD, the Abit IS7 is the top in price/performance right now. About the network connection, even a 10Mbs ethernet could handle our fastest internet connections so forget about it as a criterion.
GraveLayer That's very strange that you can't have two drives connected to the IDE RAID port. I have never used RAID before but wouldn't the right cable (with connectors) allow you to connect the two drives to the port? What would be the point of having the RAID port if you can only connect one...
lupohki: An earlier poster (Vsekh 06/23/2002 8:13PM) said that the 4G4a does have the NIC. It's only covered by the faceplate. Remove that and enable it in the Bios and you are good to go.

Got my 3 yesterday. Two sour apples and an original flavour. Anyone found a good use for these bobbleheads? Paperweights? Doorstops? Bookends? RVN, have I told you recently that I love you? :D Definitely the deal of the year in my book. For the first time, I have a legal OS on my three computers.
Just got the confirmation on the remaining two (of my three orders). Eddie, you are right, this is the DEAL OF THE YEAR.
Underclocked and the others who have not yet taken part, it is not too late. Get in gear.
