thanks for the advice but the cheapest x1800xt on newegg I found was 234.99. Then when I add tax and shipping, it is 261.05. Out of my price range. :(

x1600 pro vs x1900GT

I bought the x1600 pro for $190 with tax last week from Best Buy. I just noticed I can get the x1900GT for $219 with shipping online. Is it worth spending the extra $30 for the x1900GT? I know there is better vut $220 is definitely my cut off.

Question on Raid with 2 different drives

One of my drives died this week in my raid. I had 2 maxtor ATA 133 drives in there with 8 mb cache. I'm thinking about replacing the one that died with a Seagate drive since they comes with a 5 yr warranty. Will I have issues placing a Seagate drive that is only ATA 100 with a Maxtor that is...

Raid or Hard drive failing - Help!

I believe what I'm doing is called Raid 1. I have four drives, they are set up as two seperate raids. The first two mirror each other, and the second two mirror each other.

Looking for a LCD Widescreen moniter/TV. What do you think of these?

Problem with Ti 4600, broken transistor

I have the same problem. A capacitor broke off my GeForce4 TI4400 card at the top of the card towards where the monitor would plug in. The card seems to work. The only reason I say it is a capacitor is because it has two legs and not 3. What does a capacitor do?
