Anyone used an Allied PS?

I run a PC shop and the Allied is one of the worst power supplies on the market. You can probably get a year to 1.5 years out of the thing. The capacitors WILL begin to leak and then you get that nice toasty smell. Allied is also known as "Deer" which is often stamped on the outer housing...

MSI and Lite-on have both dropped wholesale prices to $55.00 for 32x12x40 so you should find one at a small local pc shop for around 65 - 69.00

Help me with a good power supply!

Hey Biggs, I'm not at the shop but I believe they are Global 80mm ball bearing. If it was up to me, I would use a Papst, Comair or Sanyo Denki fans. Can't really vouch for the Global (if that's correct) much one way or another as I've never had one come back defective. Take it easy.
