Xupiter taking over my computer!

Thanks for the replies. I could not uninstall this horrible application no matter what I tried until I went to: www.xupiter.com/uninstall.exe. It was impossible to delete it any other way, as it kept reappearing. I hope this info helps someone else.:);)

Xupiter taking over my computer!

Has anyone heard of Xupiter? It's causing pop ups, preventing me from going to web pages (opens it's own) , and changing my home page to Xupiter.com. I checked and there are 2 applications on my computer, and several files with this name. I have no idea what it is, and have run a virus scan...

Keyboard not working in DOS mode?

When I restart my computer in DOS mode, I can't type anything. It works fine otherwise. Reinstalled Software, checked connections. It's a Microsoft Intellitype Internet Keyboard, with a double connector, USB and regular. I need to get into DOS to delete temp files, cookies, history, as I'm...

HELP! Where to find SiS X Player Video Driver?

I accidentally deleted this video driver from add/remove programs. Does anyone know where I can find it to download so my computer display will work again? Tried reinstalling drivers from disk, but it asks for a command? My computer store wants almost $200 to do it!

Display problems....help please?

Yep, I deleted the video driver SIS X Player by accident. I did try using the disk to reinstall the drivers, but the computer didn't recognize the disk and asked for the command after I clicked on INSTALL in add/remove programs? Any idea where I can find this drive to reinstall it?

Display problems....help please?

After removing a weatherbug and a SiSX (?) program, my display is at 16 bit color and 640 X 480 pixels. There's no option to change it back to 256 bit as usual. Can someone please tell me what could be wrong? Also, my resources are low and even on DSL web pages are slow to load. The screen...

ScanDisk not working....help please..

ScanDisk Error checker and Defrag. start, get to 1%, and then start over again. This keeps happening over and over. Not working via the Maintenance Wizard either. Does anyone know what could be wrong, and how I can get them to work again? Thanks in advance.

Backdoor.Autoupder virus, help please?

I have one more question.....Since the infected files are quarantined, and my virus scan shows no other infected files, can I just delete the quarantined ones or do I still have to go in and remove all the other stuff from the registry? As you can tell, I don't know much about it and am...
