And another thing, MTAX, for stability and compatibility reasons if you have 1GB of either PC133 or DDR memory, it's better to buy 2x512 MB of memory than 4x256 MB of memory.

Unfortunately, no currently available AMD-processor-based motherboards have four PC133 SDR memory slots. And even if one did, you wouldn't be able to get your system to run at all stable with all four memory sockets filled with modules running at 133 MHz - you'd have to back your memory speed...

Looking for a good dual CPU motherboard w/ Rambus Memory

But those Dell Precision 530 series systems use the expensive Socket 603 Intel Xeon processor. The much more common Pentium 4 processor doesn't support multiprocessing at all, only uniprocessing (single-processsor).

This temp normal?

If you have your P4 Northwood idling that hot, the cooler that you put on that CPU must be really crappy! Even a retail-boxed Intel heatsink will keep that temperature well under that.

Vantec CCK-6035 Copper Heatsink <-- will this fit on my athlonx xp?

The full model number of that Vantec copper heatsink is the CCK-6035D. I have one with my Athlon XP 1600+ CPU and an Abit KR7A-133 motherboard. It should work with your XP1800+. As for compatibility with motherboards, I'd worry only if there are a bunch of capacitors way too close to the CPU socket.

Help: k7s5a temperatures

UGH! Hot air only rises, so there's no place for that hot air to go but to go screw up your PCI and AGP cards! And your case has no provision for an exhaust fan mounted at the high part of the case without major modifications. And even if you put one in, it wouldn't help much.

Can you use 1066 RIMMS on intel 850E boards?

As far as using PC1066 RDRAM on the Intel D850EMV2 motherboard, the memory will run at a fixed PC800 speed - and Intel motherboards will use only the officially supported speeds for processor and memory, with no way whatsoever of changing those speeds.
