Intermittent wired connectivity

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. The problem is fixed now. It looks like the ISP had some problems as I have not changed anything and my computer logs in without a problem. They had problems with their website too.

basically flaming hot. 500 watt enhance power supply $12.89 + shipping DEAD

Just received mine. The packing was not the best and the box was torn on one side. Power supply seems not to be affected. I'll test it probably on the weekend. It has only 24-pin and 8-pin connectors and they are not splitable.

I agree, but neither of Auzentech (US distributor) nor Korean manufacturer (GMC) have any info listed on their websites. Their support is awkward too. Auzentech has only sound card support (not for GMC cases) and GMC does not seem to have any support at all. I've sent e-mails to both and waiting...

I have very related question: I've seen photos of the similar Duron DHD1800DLV1C showing L2 bridges trick, BUT it's different packaging than what I've got. Mine is GREEN and has different layout of L2 bridges (as if L2 bridges share contact with L9 bridges). Does this mean that my CPU is locked...

Hmmm... I'm suspicious putting HD and CDROM on the same IDE channel... That should limit the transfer speeds to maximum of what CDROM has... ATA33 or ATA66 in the best case... Is that still true if CDROM is not actively transferring data?... Has anyone tried that?

Maxtor 100GB $19.99 AR back again at Office Depot

I just picked up the last one at OD in my area today. :) Does anyone have a link to exact specs of this drive? I can't find any datasheet on Maxtor website. The ones I downloaded list 80GB or 120GB and miss the one with 100GB. The other product flyer lists the 100GB drive, but doesn't say much...

Compaq Deskpro 4000 Motherboard - CPU upgrade
