Mid-range Speakers for Audigy?

I've listened to Labtec, they're cheap indeed, but the quality isn't worth it. For Creative, better choose the Inspires For Altecs, even the 2100 is far much better than the AVS 500s. I highly recommend 2100!

Digital or analog speakers ?

Dear all, I think I've got it. I've been searching to creative's website too. So for the front speakers you connect 1 cable and rear speakers you connect another cable, then you get yourself the surround, right? Well, for pcmodem, I think Klipsch speakers is way too expensive for me. Anyway...

Digital or analog speakers ?

I'm sorry, Sukhoi, but i'm new at this.What is DAC? And if I'm using Altec Lansing 4100 (analog) with My Audigy, will I get a surround? or in order to get surround I should have a Surround sound card with Surround speakers like ADA 890? thanks

Thanks to all I agree with Blurry, I can't seem to find any decent digital speakers that are less than $150 :( Anyhow, i do believe my own ears , I did listen to the Altec Lansing 621 and 4100 a month ago at an exhibition, and in the middle of all those crowd, THEY REALLY BANG! I never did...

NVIDIA nForce MCP-D vs. SB Live!

Dear crazySaint the MCP-D do have the ability of DirectSound, 5.1 Surround, A3D and EAX. For the Processor Usage, compared to SB Live, surprisingly, it came not far apart! so for the MCP-D chip, i believe the nForce will be worth every penny, especially with the 5.1 support! but still, you...

Sweet CD-Roms

BenQ, Samsung, for low price, standard performance. Sony, better performance, only $2-3 difference Asus, expensive, i have no idea what i'll get with $10 difference.

I don't see big difference in these three (Acer, LiteOn, Sony) dut to the only $2-3 difference. But for the King of All... definitely Sexy Plexy 40X12X40

Are the Plextor 2410A the same as the Acer 2410A??

like heaven and earth. both quality and price! for Acer, until today, u can get it at around $70 for Plextor, i dare not to ask.... must be around $130

What exactly does EAX Advanced HD do?

I don't think the GTXP has it. EAX Advanced HD is a improvement from the original EAX, that is to make a 3d environment sound around your ears, very neat! although I notice that until today , there isn't a game the uses this kind of technology....YET!

Funny hard drive issue

i'm sticking with my 40 gig Barracuda 7200 rpm, no heat problem, though the max heat recommended by seagate is 60 deg , but best at under 45 deg. i've been using seagate since I had my first PC, and I'm really stuck into it. once I use maxtor 2.1 gig, and it broke down twice, so i'll never use...

Why can't i get this baby working?

1.try to unplug and clean the monitor cable plug 2.try twisting your monitor cable so it wouldn't bent.. i have a similar problem with my monitor because all this time the cable was bent downward, so i straightened the cle and it works 3. make sure that the power cable is connected properly...

Brighter screen making my eyes hirt?

of course it hurts! too bright=not good. I was having the same problem, but since i bought a cheap ol' radiation protection, it works damn good. It does relaxing your eyes a lot. But for the best results, just close your eyes and rest a bit for every 30 minutes..........

Troubles With Audigy

try removing one of your sound card, maybe they're having conflict or something... about your "CD Digital" and "CD Audio control", have you connect the digital AND the analog cable? unplug the analog cable.. maybe this will help good luck!

Recommend me a Sound Card

SB Vibra will just do for $17. for around $20 you can get Winfast 6X which is very nice, or for just $10 you can get Yamaha 734 PCI which i'm using now

Digital or analog speakers ?

Which is the best? Altec lansing 4100, Altec lansing ATP 5 Digital, or Creative 5300? What's the big difference between digital and analog speakers? Is it a waste if I use analog speakers with my Audigy D.E 5.1? I'm totally lost here. thank ya all
