Junk monitor . bad quality. Qa was on vacation. maid in mexico. I really happy I could return it to staples. Or it was hard

as far as I concern that Samsung 955DF monitor is a junk. Had them at home both at the same time. Return both.

it is lite-on's smart burn crap thing. the cd media you inserted, have not recognized by smartburn in the drive.
use another media or try update firmware to the new version, you may got lucky and will get your media recognized as 32x.
they adding new media with each new version of firmware.
Lite-on's website states that once you reprogramed the drive you cannot reverse it. So if you have a chance
try it now , while you still can return. As far as when it will die on you, you know yourself, your warranty is gone
since they would read firmware and you have no way of reprogramming...
