    I agree with soni.. it might be the video card. I've had the system hang there when it tries to detect some ATI cards. I remove all other PCI cards and run only the video card when installing. If the same thing happens, do what soni said and borrow a video card from someone.

    Abit BH6 - what do I need to do to get a PCI video card to work?

    It's probably not the video card that is causing the beeps. You should check your memory and CPU. Make sure your memory is sitted right and also your CPU. If you don't have an AGP card in there, it automatically tries to boot off of the PCI. So you don't have to worry about that setting.

    From my experience.. Windows 2000 has to have the Remote User's name as and ACCOUNT. You need to create an random account for example "everyone" and then under windows 98 have everyone login name as "everyone" then you should be able to see each other. there might be an easier way with guess...
