Well, mine is also rock solid at 150FSB with 300DDR. Just can go 3:4 (2.6) ratio. It's definitely not my RAM (Corsair XMS3000) since I could run on the ASUS at 350DDR (132FSB with 3:4 CPU:MEM ratio) at best timings (222) and NO voltage bump. I can't even boot into windows with worst timings and...

I got sucked in too...saw a number of good discussions but either some of us are getting bum boards or nobody else was trying to use or report problems with the 3:4 ratios.

Yep, on the ASUS P4B533-E I read 28c idle and in the 40s under load. The Gigabyte board reports about 10 degrees higher. MBM won't see it at all.

I have one with a 1.6a. Currently running at 155 FSB which puts my RAM at 310DDR. Like Oldfart said, therein lies the problem. My RAM can do a lot more but I am stuck. Other than that, it is a good board. No other problems. I may be swapping out for a different board soon.

Need some advice:
When I set the Vcore to 1.7 I get a couple of problems. I can run everything OK at 155FSB but at 160FSB I get drop outs from prime95 and 3dmark. I noticed that when the system is idle the ASUS PC Probe S/W shows Vcore to be 1.776 but when the prime95 is run it drops to 1.68...
I just ran some test to see if the 1.5 CAS setting the ASUS P4B533-E made any diff when compared to 2CAS. The results were odd. 3DMark2001SE gave about 25 points slower for the 1.5 setting. I ran each CAS a couple of times to make sure. Very odd.
I just ran a few more tests. Since the 3:4 CPU:MEM ratio switches wot 4:3 at 133FSB I set the FSB at 132 which gives me a 352DDR RAM. Just wanted to see the effects. Compared to my previous test this favors memory bandwidth over CPU.

I've come to the conclusion that the bios is correct and that cpu-z is just plain wrong. I was hoping that I could use cpu-z to double check the sanity of my ratio figures. Is there any other way for me to get the current true memory settings?

In the bios when you hit 133 your cpu:mem ratio option goes from 3:4 to 4:3. Might be a bug though. I wonder how cpu-z gets it's info. It might be off base.

I don't understand the cpu memory ratios or else the cpu-z program.
When I have fsb of 133 I get the following:
CPU:MEM at auto or 1:1 cpu-z reports 359MHz memory timings
CPU:MEM at 4:3 cpu-z reports 269MHz memory timings
Wouldn't my DDR rate be 266MHz at 1:1...
Didn't have much time last night after installing H/W and loading OS, patches, etc.
