I want something that'll fit what I have, because I'm not sure how to handle getting custom brackets....sounds like it'll be difficult and more monies. I was looking for some DIY guides on how to install them, but I couldn't find any on the 25rs site or nasioc site. Anyone know if it requires...

Thanks for clearing things up. I think I'll stick with the brighter Halogens and call it a day. Would you recommend the Narva +50 over the Osram Night Breakers? Both seem to be around $30 for 2 bulbs. How do I check to see if the aim is correct? Thanks, Nab edit: I just quickly googled...

Ballmode, nice car! Do you have fog lights on that? It doesn't look like it from the picture, but was just wondering because I might eventually get some if they make a difference.

That actually did clear a lot of things up for me. I won't be looking at any bulbs that claim to be a higher watt than what is listed. From what you are saying, it also seems like HID might be a good idea if I get the kit from a reputable place that knows what it is doing, because it'll spread...

Oh, thanks for the information. Why is HID retrofit illegal? Is it too bright or all the adjustments and fuzziness issues that come with a retrofit? In the end, I think I'll stick to street legal. If I'm not happy with the brightness I can try something different in the future...

I skimmed over the HID articles on that site, and it seems that the HID retrofit kits are too good to be true and most probably aren't street legal....is that accurate? Question, is xenon just a type of halogen bulb?

If they're going to last the same number of hours as the others previously listed (around 350), then I think these might be a bit too expensive for me right now. This will be the first time changing my headlights in this car, so might be best if I stick with something cheaper. I'll definitely...

From the candlepower site, here are the data sheets for both bulbs: Narva 50: http://www.candlepowerinc.com/pdfs/SBL_Headlamp.pdf Narva Rangepower+30: http://www.candlepowerinc.com/pdfs/BL_Headlamp.pdf Looks like they have the same wattage and life, but the 50 has higher lumens.

The FireGL starts at $160 on newegg and the Quadro starts at $130. I am leaning toward the Quadro just because it is cheaper....is this a safe option? I changed the RAM and PSU to the recommended ones above. Furthermore, he has a great computer at work, so he will be using the one at home...
