be very careful when you post like that. are you referring to the blue volcano 7, or the all copper 7+?
the 7+ is great on my p4, but i was wondering just how the heck it would stay on an amd chip. i have 4 seperate clipping points at the corners, so mine doesn't move at all.
not that it is necessary, but i opted for a volcano 7+. it dropped my temps to 1~2C above case temp at idle, and 9c or so above case temp at full load, fan set to med or high.
nice: just as quiet at low, and you can run anything at low and not break 45c or so.
bad: on high it sounds like a...
let's put it this way. I have an antec sx1030b w/ enermax 431watt ps. I've put a couple OC'ed p4's into lesser cases with lesser 400+ watt power supplies and noticed that they don't cool as well. moreover, they suck to work on.
if you want a case that is cake to work on, get an antec -or...
sorry if this ressurects a post from the dead, but i just want to set minds at ease. I've used the asusUpdate prog numerous times. I made sure to backup the old bios to the root directory (because i'm too lazy and forgetful to find it anywhere else).
xp pro + asus prog = simple goodness.
heh, at school my reception is terrific. around my house it is so-so, but improving.
hmm, in my area cingular uses gsm chips, thus 3390 and 3395 models, and 3360's are exclusively at&t. looking at their site, cingular actually does use 3360's in some areas. make sure your area supports it, though.
bah, screw that crap. move it to OT if you really have a problem with it. why are you so perterbed by these words? oh well.
man, grow up people. discourse brings flavor to an otherwise boring life.
what? Anton Le Vey = Joseph Smith? :D
ooohhh, that's gonna piss a few people off.
anyway, I may just get one of these for the reading. never forbid yourself from reading a text based simply upon its moral posture(s). Were I to do this, i would never have read the bible, and would be making...
seriously. file this under "hot deal to be" and quit griping. what, no discount crucifixes in here so they complain? hahaha
good find. it's a nice heads up. this is especially valid in THIS forum because people usually order their junk through this forum (among other sites)
no, not at all. save the 75 bucks. just get a 1.6a, a good mobo, some good ram (corsair is my preference) and clock it yourself. without pushing the core voltage too much you can acheive 2.4ghz without much problem. I did it on a p4b266 using crucial ddr2100. I'm thinking i should hit 2.6 or so...
