I have 256MB PC800 RDRAM currently installed. I'd like to add an additional 256MB (Two 128MB sticks)
NewEgg is out of stock and I do not know any other reliable and not overpriced stores to purchase RAM.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
I just checked it out and noticed it is set to DMA if available....so it's on then correct?
Why I am getting frame loss during video capture(not significant but there)?
Hey, I hope someone can help me.
I am trying to turn on Direct Memory Access on my Hard Drive so that when I capture it does not have a frame loss. One problem is I can not for the life of me find where to do so under Windows XP.
Can someone help me please?? Thanks.
I am a newbie when it comes to this and need some help if anyone has a minute.
I have a Geforce4 ti4600 with VIVO. I used Power Director that came with the card and I do not like the options available to me. I am willing to spend money for a program because I really have loads of video on VHS...
I would like to use my Sidewinder for all my games. I have the Game Pad Pro but all the schemes that come with it are outdated games. Are there any sites that have schemes open for download so I can add them to my collection?
Renob: That pfft was meant to be a joke :)
But anyway like others have said I have noticed different scenarios where PSU's last longer then others with higher wattage ratings.
I am using my 120GB drive for storage and would like to replace my 3 year old 14GB 5400RPM HD which is becoming very loud.
Any recommendations on a new drive that is quiet, 7200 RPM and IDE? 40-60 GB is enough since I have all the space on an 80 and 120 anyway.
Thanks in advance,
I just installed a brand new Visiontek ti4600 into my system and all I got on my monitor were lines even at the bios screen. So it's not a driver/software problem but a hardware problem right? I put back in my Geforce2 and everything works again.
except I am putting the geforce4 in seperately, I bought it at http://geforce.marlinsbaseball.com
If the power supply is weak pardon my ignorance here, what would be at risk? The power supply or the Geforce 4 card?
On my new PC which comes next Thursday, there is a 250 Watt Power Supply, will it be able to handle this or is Gateway taking a shot here?

If I was to buy a P4 2.4 Ghz running on a 533Mhz bus today, when the 3ghz chip is released, can I upgrade to it or would my hardware/mobo be incompatible? Thanks in advance.
Hmm maybe I am paranoid but when this new lineup is released in September, wouldn't the price of the ti4600 drop even lower then the 287.00 I paid last night?
